Hi all, newbie here! Having been an avid follower of multiple grow journals on this site for a good while now, I thought what better place to go when I need a bit of advice!

So, I'm already under way with my first grow. I have 5 Humboldt Seeds "Blue Dream" plants, which were started from seed. They germinated on April 10th, and have been growing happily in a 5x5ft tent ever since, under a 600w Dual Spectrum HPS, which is in an Air Cooled Reflector. The plants themselves are in 5 gallon tubs.

They have been getting fed using the Shogun Nutrients Line, and have no problems with them at all. I decided to use the SCROG method, having read that it is a good option when growing in a smaller space, with regards to light penetration and what not. So if the first two weeks of life is classified as the seedling stage, they have no been in Veg for 30 days (44 Days Total Time). I was wondering when would be the best time to switch over to flower? I have attached a couple of pics I took a few minutes ago.

Just a few extra details:

Growing Medium: Soil
Room Temp: 75 to 82f Lights on / 69 lights off
RH: Between 38 & 42%

id flip them anytime now ... remember they can double in size when flipped

You might be right with underwatering / lack of nutrients.

I forgot to mention, that I re used the soil and added more coco to it. So it would be pretty drained from nutrients... and it gets dry faster now.

Have her a feeding today, and she took whole 10 liters over time (!). The pot is only about 7 liters big.

Cranked up the lights a little too. Let's see what happens. Thanks for the support friends! M
 
I have a question. In soil does the ph of the medium rise continually?.. because for example i watered the indoor girls like almost a month before this last watering in theory it could have got a lockout because it had been so long till i had reset the ph of the medium via watered with a ph of 6.4 again. And it maybe rose to lock it out? I only thought of this because i saved about a gallon of water i phd yesterday that was 6.4 but today i checked it and it was like 6.9 or 7.0 so it rose over like 20 hours

So it's been a week since I asked for help on this plant. Since then I've fed her twice with 1/4 dose of bio bizz heaven/grow and 1ml per gal of cal mag. Doesn't seem to improve at all. Any suggestions? Should I up the dose?

Also, does it look like my light is too close to the plant? Kinda looks like it's pulling away

It's over watered. Feed it 2 times in 1 week? With 20% runoff?

may i also suggest a transplant ... it may be rootbound to ...
 
Awesome.....I remember during the campaign they had that little girl who was having hundreds of micro seizures a day with no quality of life and the cbd treatment brought down the seizures to an almost non existentst level and now she is walking and talking and living a much more normal life.

Their are so many wonderful benefits to using marijuana medically. And for the people who think its just an excuse to get high just know that there are oils and tinctures that have all of the cannabinoids but less of the thc-a so you get all the medical benefits without the high.

The problem now is that THE DONALD wants to drastically cut funding for medical research. So that means the fda will be very slow paced at approving much needed treatments because their is no money in the budget to adequately do test and scientific studies.

HOPEFULLY THE BLINDERS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GOVERNMENT WHO TRIES TO CONTROL AND OPPRESS US AND THEN SOME REAL BREAKTHROUGHS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED
 
Well said Cannoisseuras! I'm irate that the DEA said that CBD is a schedule 1. What? WHat? WHAt? WHAT?
 
hello all
started my grow and 2 weeks in, but i might be able to get some plants that only need 2 weeks veg left to then switch, question is, northern lights is roughly a 50-60 day strain.

so when should i consider first day of flower? iv always counted from seeing the first pre-flowers clusters with more than 5 hairs.

is that right? just need to work dates out if so.

Count from the day you switch the lights to 12/12. That is Day 1.

Need to up pot that one its seriously rootbound.
