Turned the extractor fan off and it's pushing 19 19.3, the intake fan is still on, is this worth it, or will I need that extractor fan on to make sure there's a constant in out cycle?

If you feel air being pushed out of the exhaust hole. I would think your good.

You can look on amazon for an inexpensive ph pen, if you're going to spend a little money look up Blue Lab testers.

Cool I have been using the inexpensive one from Amazon (yellow one) worked fine until this week. So now it's time to get a good one so I can check them against each other.

I use cheap meters and I'd say they hold calibration for a while. If you're growing hydro, you absolutely need meters. If you can afford high end ones, it's probably wise to get them, otherwise get what ya can afford. They all do about the same things more or less.

Me an 'Ol Yeller are still going strong too.
Quick calibration before every grow and you're good to go.

Yep i use a blue lab gaurdian in the tent but ill use the old pen for mixing fresh nutes

Sorry I use a 6 in 1 test kit. I would think that as long as it can be calibrated. It should work just fine.

Just buy some calibration fluid, the cheap yellow ones work.
You can store the pen in the ph 7 fluid.
