How could I get rid of nats without chemicals? Went to water plants and for some reason I rubbed the top soil it was hard well when I did this I noticed nats flying from the soil....wth is this from and how to get them gone! Thanks everyone for the help

Fungus gnats can come with soil you get at the store, or if you keep your pots too wet. You can try blue and green sticky traps, a neem oil drench or putting sand over the top of the soil to suffocate them. Sand is probably the hardest to use of these, you'll have to shovel it back out when you want to water and cover again afterward.

Let you soil dry out....they like to pay their larvae in the top couple inches but they need moisture to live

Assuming they are NOT autos... They look like a better candidate for FIMming given their bushiness but they look ready... for whatever you choose to do training wise.... as long as they are normal photo plants.

ABSOLUTELY! Sorry it looks like no one got you an answer yet. If you are in soil, it already has the necessary nutrients to last at least 2-3 weeks and the better the soil usually the longer you can go. Do not feed seedlings in soil.

thanks you ! im using promix hp . Also my cup is filled halfway , when would suggest a transplant tp a 1 gallon pot ?

Do you have holes in the bottom of the cup for drainage??? Once you see little white roots through those holes you can transplant. You want to transplant when the medium is fairly dry but not completely dry as if it is wet or extremely dry it will fall apart easily.

Hey everyone I'm on my first grow and my ladies are 18 days into flowering. How's it looking just making sure bud development looks right, most of these plants are 8 week. Trying not to get this far and mess up at the end thanks for any and all advice!

How big is your grow area? And, how long are you planning on vegging? As kitty said, I don't know if I would top a plant with that type of stature.

hey guys, my autoflower babies are 6 days old, they loook fine so far, i have my led lights on 22 hours a day, i only switch em off a couple of hours during noon, should i keep the lights switched off for more hours or not? what do you think? cheers

Goooooooooood morning.

You're gonna get 10 diff opinions on that one. Mine is...Everything needs rest, 2 hours is good, 4 would be better....I think 6 is best.
Mine run 24/7 the first few days after they "pop" then switched to 18/6.

You can adjust hours. Don't leave the lights off so long. That there wee little heads droop to the ground.

At the end of the day...industry recommended standard is 18/6 throughout their life cycle. Stick with that and you won't mess up light wise.

They look like they are where they should be to me. Your light looks at the right height too. Nice job, good looking girls.

good morning mate thank you, im very worried about my ventilation though, i placed it on the top of the tent but when i switch it on its so powerfull that when i close the tent with the zip the walls are shrinked because it sucks too much air from the inside to outside and i only have this one and a clip fan. should i buy one more fan to place it on another hole so there is intake air too? (Sry for my bad english- i hope u understand what i wanna say) - PLS HELP IM SUCH A NOOB

I find my plants grow more during lights out then they do with lights on so I run 18/6. I've tried 24 hrs an found growth slowed but that's just my experience an opinion

Some negative pressure is a good thing, if you have an opening at the bottom so it pulls in outside air you should be good.

and one more thing, one of the four little plants came with 3 leaves so i destroyed it and place a new seed there (cause i had 2 spare seeds in the paper towel ready to plant in soil) i placed it in soil but she doesnt look so happy, here is a picture, should i wait to see how is it gonna react in the next days?

That's a pretty big squirrel cage fan. What's the cfm and is it multiple speed?

have no clue what the cfm but it says "air flow m3/h: 315" if that helps and unfortunatelly NO it doesnt have multiple speed just on/off
