Ase's Multi-Strain Quadlining In Coco

@Asesino85

Sorry but I don't have any photos of the ending of the grow. Both grows turned superb, out of 5600w total, ive yielded 5000g so that seems quite decent result. Was really exhausting grow for me with this drain to waste, really, really tiring to clean every day,not to mention that I was topping up 150l of water every single day after week 1 of flower
. In addition wet coco attracts pests, had mites problems but I took a hard stance and sprayed some really strong insecticide/pesticides so I beat them. Quad-lining proved to be really good but my approach was a bit lazy and I didn't "hold" on the new branches so some "main" branches didnt reach the light but in exchange they had multiple wtf big colas so in the end it turned out well.
The biggest plant yielded 413g and the smallest 49g so.. Can't say it was perfect but for a second coco grow turned out really well. The biggest plants drinked around 6-8 liter per plant, depends. The few smaller ones were ok with ~3-4 liters.
I must admit I overdosed great white really, really hard and it worked superb for me. I used it once a week from veg to first three weeks of flower. Once a week, 10g in 10l of water. Kinda hardcore I know but...

I'm just building my new rooms cause I'm switching to RDWC so we shall see how that will turn out.
I have 24 x 30l pots total, bought the Alien RDWC systems cause I literally didn't have any time to DIY this. Will be trying to do a bennies reservoir so its gonna be real fun making teas and such new things.

The main reason I bought the RDWC is the auto top up. Thats incredible. There is additional reservoir beside the head pot.
The head pot itself has a float valve which keeps the water in level. If water level drops - it adds water.

This means all I will have to do is just add nutes, cause I've wired my RO system from the garden sink directly so it will fill the reservoir. (I'm ashamed to say but during the coco grow I've filled a big 200l can every day and moved the water with 10l tubes, 2 in each hand)
You just... cant imagine what hassle is doing this for 10 weeks straight, every single day.

I'm always @ your thread reading, but im just not that much into chit chat and I don't post often, but especially your thread I check it daily!
Sorry for the late reply but im real busy lately.

P.S.: Oh, and the other reason for coco switch - I just simply dont want to move around 20 bags of 50 litres of coco anywhere, anytime, ever again...

Day 46 Flower ATFs - Day 38 Multi-Strain

I have 2 ATF clones left and I will be transplanting them tomorrow or this weekend. They are overdue to get in their final pots but my lack of planning has led to me just leaving them. They continue to do well but they are dry now after just a day so they need it ASAP. I rigged up my 2 x 4 tent today to hold the veg girls so when I want to flip these to flower I can. The scrog ATFs probably still have 30 days left or maybe a little more and once they are done the multi-strain can go in there and get flipped right away.

ATF #1
ATF #2. I've got a really good shape to her and I can't wait to just let her go now.
The Multi-strain girls. The Panama (up top)really is getting lanky and I'm afraid this thing is going to be super stretchy as well. These girls need to get transplanted soon as well so I can really start training them. Right now it's still just bending and they need to get tied down. The Durban Poison I don't think I am even going to top since it's behind in time to the others.

The flower girls are starting to get fun. There are white hairs just everywhere and I can see the spears that @Van Stank was talking about. They are also starting to get frosty as well.

Looking awesome brother......now the show starts!! :theband:

Looks great bud

My ATF packed in real nice in cure. The smell when I open the jar is amazing, for sure the best and strongest smelling strain I've grown yet, the hole room will be engulfed by just Opening the jar

Well who ever narked on me for saying the GF got so high I could do anyt€%®£ to her...lol.... They don't

I'm jacked about the DTF Van, it's looking sooooo much like the ATF, and the smell as well

Starting to feel the thunder!

Thunderbolt colas. For the first time in a long while I am starting to feel relaxed about this grow and this tent specifically.

Now my other tent is giving me anxiety because I still haven't figured out what to do. Lol! The two ATFs in there are going to end up gigantic and need their own 4x4' tent. Going to be hard to keep the other 4 multistrain in a 2x4' tent with a small light for 5-6 more weeks but that looks to be my only option.

Heavy defo and hst! It could be awesome as they could become so strong afterward

Always adversity growing these babies.

Day 48 Flower ATFs - Day 40 Veg Multi-strain

There really isn't much to say on this update. I did get the 2x4' tent setup on the multi-strain girls and bonsai are in there now. It will for sure get crowded as they probably have to go another 4-5 weeks in here before the scrog tent opens up. It is what it is. I also didn't want to be using 3 tents either but it's my only real solution to my poor planning. The Panama I decided to take the two longest branches and top them a little lower so everything was back to even.

From left to right: Honeysuckle, Aurora Indica, Durban Poison and Panama. The thing about quadlining is that it helps with vertical space but it does cause the plants to be wider. I don't have room in this tent for wider plants so I'll have to train as I go with these as well. One Mars Hydro reflector 96 probably isn't enough light either but it's the option I have and if they have to veg for 5 more weeks than not a big deal if they aren't growing at normal pace with my bigger lights.

The veg tent was now turned to 12/12. I just transplanted these into 3 gallon fabric pots which will be their final home. Tomorrow I will call day 1 flower but I do think it will take them a bit to transition to flower. Usually I'd give them a week or so in their new homes before doing this but I just need to pump them out and see what happens. They are big girls already though and I think they will fill up this entire tent with just the two of them. Will be training by using string/wire and tying that to my metal racks that they sit on. Given what the current flower ATFs did during stretch, these will need to pulled pretty horizontal. Because they are already so tall I am going to have to train them differently. Should be fun to do a non quadline. Going to save my one plant tent grow for the only Gorilla Glue seed I have. I also may remove the racks as there is only two plants in this tent and likely only one next grow.

ATFs. Weird that the front left one isn't really filling in like the others. It's just super lanky.

A lot of thunderfuckery goin on in there. Lol. Where is a good source for ATF? On Seedsman site they have Matanuska Tundra which it says is AKA Alaskan Thunderfuck. Sagarmatha Seeds is the breeder on that one.

I really have no idea as these were gifted to me. I have also never gone through seedsman. I do believe a lot of people call it Matanuska Tundra as it's official name but Akaska Thunderfuck is just so much more fun to say! Also I have seen Matanuska Thunderfuck and that's pretty cool too.

I know I updated yesterday BUT.... as @Pennywise always says... If you don't want to read you don't have to!

I made a couple of small changes. The main change I did this morning was to take the racking out of my 2nd tent. No drip table anymore either. I did this due to there only being 2 plants in there and it's easy to suck up water from only 2 plants in saucers. As soon as I did it I noticed tent 3 was really crowded so I decided to throw the Panama in with the other 2. I won't be giving her a bigger pot and I just got done topping 3 of the 4 branches. The 4th branch had already been topped a week or so ago because it was growing faster than the other 3. I should end up with 8 main colas. It will take a while to transition to flower. Funny though, if I had decided to put the 3rd girl in there I probably wouldn't have removed the tray and racking! Just created myself a touch of extra work, nothing too bad.

2x4' tent with now only 3 girls and a bonsai. The spacing and light coverage will now be ok with only 3 plants in there. I figure since they will have to veg another 6 weeks, these 3 should be enough for one tent when it's available.
2nd tent with the two ATF clones as well as the Panama. With just transplanting the ATFs and just topping the Panama, this should be interesting. I don't blame some of you if you are going WTF is wrong with Ase? He is all over the place. Lol, you're right! I think it'll be alright though.

ATF bud shots

Will defoliate a bit today but the leaves are so thin light is still getting to the bottoms so I don't need to remove any. I do want to get rid of any leaves that are running into bud though and also maybe pull off a couple larfy looking nugs at the very bottom that might not be getting the best light.
