Ase's Multi-Strain Quadlining In Coco

Day 1 Flower ATFs

Flip day is finally here! Last night the lights were set to 12/12 so today is the first day of flower. I moved the clones and the bonsai back into the other tent and turned on just the veg setting of those lights. I think I will be starting seeds for my next grow tonight. Tomorrow at the latest.

The ATFs looked really good today. You know me though, still could be better so....

I decided to do one last defoliation and bent a few more tops so I could literally cover the whole net. I wasn't going to use the outer squares but I needed to spread them out just a bit more. It was also an extremely thick canopy and badly needed a defoliation. I wouldn't have done it if they didn't look healthy because they are so close to stretch but I couldn't have waited until after stretch. It would have been a jungled mess. Either way the bounceback should be fun. I can't say I literally have every square with a cola in it but it is really close and I may still be able to get to a few of the last squares if they start really stretching.

I am still apprehensive of the back left one. I have a bad feeling about that one being male. I'd like to know asap as I could move the middle plant to that spot and still have a great canopy. Not quite as filled in as it currently is, but still pretty close. The problem is I need to know before it stretches and gets too tied up in the net to get it out. Still hoping all female because this net will look incredible if they are. I will post a bounce back tomorrow.

Can't wait to hear what you choose for the next beans ase. Happy 4th

Fingers cross'ed for ya. When it fills in more in the stretch its going to get nuts.

Hey if you get a chance stop in and look at Wicked Widow and let me know your thoughts.

Still loving this scrog. I really hope they are all female as well. It will be amazing to see all those colas climbing high! The bonsai tree is looking good brother! How are the CBDreams coming along Ase?

I really am loving that bonsai. Had the girlfriend send me a picture this morning for ya! They won’t really be flat and even as it looks like there will be some nice colas in the middle of each plant and then another whole 2nd layer. Not a huge deal as almost all of these plants are going to creams/oil/lotions. She’s doing a much better job with the defoliation this round.

The Bounce back - Day 2 Flower ATFs

Now I am really happy with how they look and there is fresh green growing everywhere. I need to clean up under the net and I will raise the net a bit as they stretch and keep getting rid of anything under the net. Time to let them grow vertical and see what happens!

For quick reference, yesterdays picture.

24 Hours later

@TheMadDabber New beans went down tonight. I also have the 6 ATF clones.

Crop King Seeds Durban Poison
Advanced Female Seeds Honeysuckle
Ace Seeds Panama
Nirvana Seeds Aurora Indica

I've heard good things about the Aurora indica. Tight nodes, stout grower. I have 1 single honeysuckle bean so I'll watch that closely! The Panama sounds exotic, and DP is a classic. Very well rounded group. Should be a great show.

The Aurora Indica is the one I am most excited about. My very first grow ever was 5 Aurora Indica’s in soil and I had no clue what I was doing really. Very anxious to see what I can do with it in coco and a couple years of experience now. The Durban Poison and Panama I am very excited to grow. The Honeysuckle is the wildcard.

Day 4 Flower ATFs

The new batch of seeds I started are all pretty much cracked and barely have a little white taproot coming out. I'm going to wait until the end of the night to transplant them as I want that taproot to be about 1 CM long before I put it into it's first pot.

I finally got the underside of the net cleaned up. With the net where it is I have to reach underneath the net and basically pinch leaves off with my fingers. With the canopy being filled in it is really hard to see what I am doing so it takes a lot longer than normal. Also I am watering with a taco bell cup as my normal watering pitcher is too big to fit under the net so that has been taking a lot longer to do as well. I was able to raise the net a few inches now that all the plants are trained. It made watering so much either but defoliating will still be a pain until they are done stretching. It was a big win to be using my watering bucket again though! It's the little things... Now the waiting game continues to see how my instincts were in the whole male/female category.

Mine are just showing sex at day 9 of 12 12. Any idea about the back one you mentioned?

The scrog is very nice! Sea of colas smoking your way

No idea. Earlier I started thinking to myself, I've never done regs at all so I don't usually pay that much attention to looking for signs until flower. My instincts on the rest could even be way off. I did find a hair or two on all of these ones (so that's a saving grace) but when I transplanted them they stopped showing signs and started growing again. So really it's a patience tester. After all it is just an educated guess for me really.
