You guys are running a well oiled machine. Way to go, and make it look easy.

Cheers

Speaking only for myself, any knowledge I share was acquired right here. This community is the very definition of "pay in forward".

Thanks man, truly appreciate it. We'll figure out our nute issues just in time to move to the kit.

Yeah we've run into a few of those already, and I dread moving them.

That's awesome about the reps, I'm hovering around 2600 I think, but I'm not 420magazine's official social director. :)

 :high-five:

Are we counting "rep points"? Is that the number above all your reps? What does it do?

I missed catching up for a bit and am right on time for PK. The photoessay sure was helpful catching up! I have a fondness for your training style, the plants look like exquisite giant bonsais. It's a super nice signature look.

If you want to cure yourselves of the need for weighing, grow some very lanky sativas. You can hardly move them without causing the branches to bend all over the place! Love you guys. And +reps (I just crested 4,000 rep so I am happy to send it out to deserving peeps!)

I'm impressed as hell Shiggity. I just hit 4872.

We've been weighing pre-cure, at or below 70%. The thought it that's about what we'd get off the street, so we wanna know how much money we're no longer spending. :)

This has to be one of my all-time favorite things you wrote. I love your sense of humor arteekay. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

where do you people even see those things in the first place ? :trance:

Also, not sure where to ask this, but where can you post videos anonymously? (yes i googled russian sites etc, but if anyone has experience, most welcome for a project , that is pointless if there is only youtube and vimeo for broadcast).
I ask here because there is all the experts here (ie, the people who can see reps and who know what it is, lol :-):cheesygrinsmiley::Hookah::laughtwo::laughtwo: )

You can see rep points in your profile page under likes/thanks. Scroll down and you will see rep points. There is a large number and a small one. The small one is how many rep points you hand out to others when you rep them. They don't really mean anything but it adds to the fun.

I made a special Shiggityflip email and used that to start a Shiggityflip YouTube page. I mostly just use it for posting a couple vids here. Invest in a good proxy service. It will let you use a proxy IP address and keep yours private. I use PIA private Internet access and it works great for me. You can designate where in the world you are posting from. Sometimes I set it to USA sometimes Other places in the world.

Soooooo... you're saying that you're pretending to be American?? Just where are you from Mr. Shiggs?!?!?! Are you my neighbor?? :biglaugh::biglaugh:

I haven't forgotten about you Sue, I do have something to post for you but I just don't quite have it ready.

That's OK Jay. I just need you to step out every now and then so I can drop some rep points on you too. arteekay gets most of them because he does most of the posting. That's not really fair to you now, is it?

Great work here. I can't say that enough. :high-five:

Ahhhh..... I get such pleasure out of a visit to your garden. How on earth did the new Lemon Skunk get so old so fast? Why does it feel like yours are growing faster than mine? Oh yeah, that's because they are. You know, one of these days I'm going to figure this cultivating thing out and scare the beejeezers out of you guys. :laughtwo:

Thank you for brightening up my night. :hugs: :kisstwo:

I snapped a main top off LS2 last night, and made the decision to just remove it rather than tape her up. You'll see in last night's update that I again failed to post before going to bed. We'll see what happens.

We've been running into real problems with nutes in mid to late flower, and it's continuing with our Quarter Pounder. We gotta get that figured out, it's getting annoying.

Hey bud! Glad to see ya.

Are we counting "rep points"? Is that the number above all your reps? What does it do?

It grows bigger, and helps others grow theirs bigger when you spread it around.

Why would you want it bigger you may ask? Well, for measuring of course!!

:)

Seriously, we need a scoreboard. If I didn't know better I'd think you're all just throwing out random numbers!

Apparently I lied as well, I'm at 2500, not 2600 as I claimed last night. You can all punish my transgression by clicking that six pointed star next to "blog this post".

I read through the typo well into today, dammit. Might've been funnier if it made sense on the first reading.

where do you people even see those things in the first place ? :trance:

What do you mean, "you people"?

Bahahah

Seriously though, reps are great, to give and receive. They are part of the joy our SweetSue talks about spreading...

I really need to get on creating another google/youtube login for my 420 stuff. Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks! so reps are the statistics of thanks and likes given/received etc (top5) ? I was looking for something specifically labelled "reps" :-)

That's on your profile page, you're looking for the User CP page, where you see your subscribed threads and forums. It's labeled "Reputation Power".

Brother Jay if that was true I would be over there right now forcing you to take Huck Kush rosin dabs. You guys need to go solventless and switch to the squishing life. I dare you to go to the latest vid I posted in the rosin tech thread in my sig and not be convinced! Instant dabs! (Shameless self plug accomplished)

Forcing... Yeah, can't see that being the case. More likely we'd be over there helping with harvests. I imagine you must have a crew to roll through that trich forest you grow.

I'm subbed up, but it'll likely be a fall/winter project. I'm a little disappointed in myself for not having a front row seat to that show.

I wish I had a crew. It's all a solo trim rtk. I should ship you guys down south of the border as migrant trimmers lol. It takes me several 8 hour days to get it all trimmed. If it's popcorn it gets sent to the dry ice bags. Shiggity ain't got no time fo dat! To be honest, this last grow I bagged up 3 plants whole. I will get to them I swear! It's only been a month haha.

August 3 (Wednesday) Update.

Autos: Early Miss 3 is 68, Train Wreck is 54, Quarter Pounder is 42, our second Lemon Skunk is 27 days, our second Red Poison is 3, and finally our third Northern Lights 2 days old. They are on an 20/4 schedule and are 15-21 inches from their lights.

Photos: POW 33 and White Widow are both 7 days old today

Another missed update. I'll get back on track eventually. :)

Man, we were both whining and crying about how many branches I let our Amnesia Haze have, and it taking us a full hour to cut and trim her. I couldn't imagine a single 8 hour day, honestly by morning coffee I'd be subbing out the contract. :)

We're still in the stage where a single plant with 5+ ounces on her is just a massive stash, scaling up from buying an ounce every three or four weeks before we started growing.

I little apprehensive about the next step up in scale, not sure we need to either. Keeps us off the street and draws very little attention.

I won't say never though, if Trudeau ever gets something going I could see it.

Once I get tired of pheno hunting I will scale down a bit. () I just love finding new troupes of plants and experiencing them, getting to know them inside and out.
Nice to see you active Shiggity.

A bit. Sure Sure, I'm sure. Anyone want to place bets on when this scaling down will take place? :)

August 4 (Thursday) Update.

August 5 (Friday) Update.

Autos: Early Miss 3 is 70, Train Wreck is 56, Quarter Pounder is 44, our second Lemon Skunk is 29 days, our second Red Poison is 5, and finally our third Northern Lights 4 days old. They are on an 20/4 schedule and are 15-21 inches from their lights.

Photos: POW 33 and White Widow are both 9 days old today

  • POW had her solo cup soaked with bubbled tap water at 142 ppm and 5.8 PH @ 70 f
  • QP was soaked again tonight with 85% strength grow nutes at 772 ppm and 5.8 PH @ 67 f

Our two newest autos, our second Sweet Seeds Red Poison and our third CKS Northern Lights are both looking great, but incredibly short. Not a hint of stretch in either. The failed germinations threw off our timelines a bit, but the change to shorter strains should sort that out well. We'll try for another CKS Jack Herer auto again soon.

Our pair of photos are interesting to see grow together. The CKS White Widow got stuck in her membrane for a day, and her first set of real leaves look terrible. I'm hoping she'll recover, but it's definitely set her behind her CH9 POW33 sister.

Our second Lemon Skunk seems to be doing just fine. The accidental topping should really change her shape on that end. I look forward to seeing how that develops.

Onto the Quarter Pounder. Wow. She's been looking lighter and lighter for the last probably four or five days. We switched her to bloom nutes too early, and when we did we only gave her 25% strength. She's far too hungry for that and developed deficiencies within a day or two. She went through 9 lbs of water yesterday and got a top up of 75% strength grow, and a record 11 lbs today and got soaked through with 85% grow again tonight. She is definitely looking better tonight than she has in days. She's a beast (by our standards with autos)

Our first Train Wreck is doing far better than I would have expected with how little actual green foliage she has. She's reasonably thick and is starting to frost up even.

Standby for harvest before and afters, and her weekly life story of course.
