Anyone ever outdoor hempy?

i am wondering if anyone has successfully had an outdoor hempy grow. i am planning to try it this summer, would like to know so i dont waste a clone or my time. thx

I got a situation where I need to move my hempy grow outside. Growing in pots outside regardless of medium is very common. I don't see any down side. You may need to secure the plant more because perlite provides little root/plant support. Good Luck!

thanks for stopping by and even more for the input. from what ive read up on is that with hempy outdoor it would require frequent watering visits, which is the only reason why its not often heard about in grow communities. how did they do when u moved them out? did u have to water more frequently compared to indoor?

I did peppers and tomatoes last year as an experiment. Used 3 gallon pots, some perlite/vermiculite, some all perlite, and some coco/perlite.....no discernable difference between the growth. They can get light and tip over, I put them inside a larger wooden enclosure to keep them upright and keep the sun from warming the pots up. Needed water every 2nd day in the sunlight, set up a timed drip system.

:thanks:
i was planning on trying them out on a guerrilla grow, so i couldnt use timed drip systems but i can incorporate it in a underground earthbox system. thanks for the much needed input!

are you by any chance planting in a greenhouse you lucky lucky person? i wish i could greenhouse it but a greenhouse aint meant for guerrilla grows lol

thats whats up! that expression one hand washes the others is used alot where i live, funny u guys say it out in ireland if thats where ur from

GlockDoc, I move mine in/out each day. They do need to be watered more often. I'm in an arid environment which also contributes to loss of moister in the pertilite. Wind can also cause problems. Perlite does not provide as much root support that soil provides. Regardless, it appears hempy would not work with your application. Good Luck!

yiesha u familiar with an earthbox? i bet with an earthbox;depending on the size of the res, that you could bang out a hempy grow outdoors without watering for a good amount of time. check out this link. its the one in the second post even thou the one in post 1 isnt bad but post 2 was what i was dreaming up then i ended up seeing it here which was mint because now i know it can be done and wasnt just a crazy idea i had.

how much perltie should be used?can you mix it through the soil?and what about sharp sand?so much information and i jus wanna grow good meds!!!

I am not familiar with a earthbox and your link didn't work. It might be something I maybe interested in. I am in a rural area and have irrigation in my yard so watering on a timer will be easy. Right now it is too cool at night so I bring them in and tuck them in their tent night night at 7 PM, kickem out of bed at 7 AM. Seem's to be working. They are three weeks in flower.
