Heya homegirl!! Nice plant (torture) training you've got going on!!! Looking like she's gonna be a beast!! I'm watching this one!! Happy Tuesday friends and neighbors!!Oh my, have I got an interesting anomaly.
Both my RR XXL auto plants have double branching and double buds forming on both node 2 branches, as seen in the pics below! Aren't I lucky! (bear in mind that I removed node one branches on both plants so node 2 is the first remaining level of the canopy.
Same anomaly on both plants. I removed node 2 on my last Red Russian XXL auto, so I have no idea how consistent this trait is. I should contact Victory and ask them what they know about it.

Dude, you're hours ahead by my standards and a day by some others. It blows my brain a bit thinking about time zones. The Antipodeans are all a day ahead of me I think. Is there a standard, universal time? Yes there is.I mean seriously

I’m 5 hours ahead of you. 6 to the UK (7 from Sunday) 12 hours to East Coast US and 15 hours to the West Side. I’m 4 hours behind Eastern Australia (Sydney/Melbs maaahte) but I work on Hong Kong Time which is an hour ahead of Thailand.Hey Bode, thank you for those observations. She's a cutie I think

When I lived in SA I was got a little sad this time of year, brother’s birthday today, parent’s wedding anniversary tomorrow but also the clocks go back to it felt like I was an hour further away 2 hours behind not one.
Ah your 20’s. Such silly things we are!

I can’t hear any birds, the banana trees look pretty. Our cat looks well fed at the moment. At least two of these things are probably correlated.
But in Jordy The Cat’s defence - the song birds are just collateral damage. We don’t get many snakes and just the one poisonous shrew thing and he dealt with that whilst I stood on the chair and wailed waling the whole house up at 2am

The cat with no name who visits me stalked and rushed an Ibis (Hadeda) a couple of days ago. I like having the Ibis in the garden, eating the grubs in the soil. There is a distinct correlation between the low numbers of birds I see out there, and the arrival of the cat in the hood!I can’t hear any birds, the banana trees look pretty. Indoor plants:
Yesterday I did a larf removal on RR1. I may have to take more, we'll see.
This is my RR1 today in natural light. I turned the light off to show you the true colours. I am having a slight nute burn on some upper leaves from too much calcium. Yesterday I watered the plant to runoff to try to move the calcium in the soil. I will dial back the calcium to a lower dose and longer intervals going forward.

Yes. Faring much better than the last batch, thank you. I have blemished a few leaves by giving the plant too much calcium. I hope I have corrected that and stopped the nute burn in its tracks by watering to runoff twice in the last four days.

Now I am going to focus on the Red Russian XXL auto 2 which is now living outside. I had to get my photo fix in today and this plant is looking pretty out there, I must say. Tiny little burnt popcorn buds but hey. Pics a tad oof, but it's hard doing macro hand held on one's haunches
My tendency with a smaller plant is to recommend you leave all that stuff on.

Heck yeah.... I'm happy to be here in our humble crazy community living vicariously through people like you! Not for long though. I think growing the plant itself is sooooo therapeutic! Almost as so as using it. I'm 54... Started smoking herb when I was 12 and I will continue to use it. Super nice to meet you as well!! You'll see me pop up a little bit of everywhere! Happy Thursday.
