Hey Ween, whatever you buy ,..get it as tall as possible. Don't limit yourself right off the bat . Cheers bud!:high-five:

Done, thanks Duggan! I went with a gorilla 2X2.5X5.7 with a 1' ext. Straight to water for the veg girls today.

Agreed, one of my 4X4 is a gorilla. I've got a pretty serious collection of grow gear....and growing, ha!

the ladies all got a drink of straight water tonight. My money maker aka Donna-ld aka el presidente electe, is not really shooting and definitive pistils. I'm a little worried but I didn't see any definitive males parts but then again, I don't really know what I'm looking for. See the pics below and let me know what you think.

I got tired of skimming back through my journal to see what I did last so finally started a print journal, went back a little over a month, everything was pretty good except i was not brixing enough, every 7-10 days going forward.

I had a plant that looked like that. I thought it was a male and I had caught it early enough. I removed the plant and turned it into worm food. The rest of the room produced hundreds of seeds.


I'm no expert. That plant looks male to me.

My AVA was in the flower tent from 3-29 to 4-07. Ether that wa enough, or some pollen drifted in from outside. You might wait 24 hours for a second opinion. You might try to get more closeups. but I personally wouldn't wait more than 24 hours.

Thanks again rad! It really sounds like I may be screwed but I don't notice anything that resembles pollen sacs, again, I don't really know. Lights go on in a few, I'll pull it and try to get some more close up pics but will be ready to dispose of it.

Not sure if it was the right thing to do but I went ahead and culled the money maker aka Donna-ld. Bagged it up and disposed of it. I know that could have gone in the next round of soil but don't want to risk keeping pollen around. 90+% sure it was a male.


Anything else I should do in the tent beside crossing my fingers? I didn't find any pollen sacs.


So now there is room for another, should I move my big vegging girl in? I'm thinking yes. She is about 33" tall including the pot and understand she will stretch and I know this is a female since it was a clone. Should I trim her down or tie her down so she is not way bigger than the 2 in there now? They are 28" and 38" tall.



Brixed the remaining 5.

I want to put the soil from the culled plant in a bin to start saving 2nd round soil, would it be a good idea or being paranoid if I disposed of the top layer of soil because of the possibility of pollen being in it?


Got my new tent, 2X2.5X5'7" with a 12" extension. Gonna put my 2 smaller vegging girls in there, will probably up can them to #10's soon. The bigger veg girl will go in the bloom tent where Mr. Money Maker aka Donald was. Assuming I'll need to lower her a little, LST will spread her out and there is already not a lot of space, wondering if I should lop off 6-8" instead...?

Have no concerns about pollen that may have hit the soil. Once you hit pollen with water it becomes inactive.

I moved the big veg girl to the bloom tent and she's taller than both so will tie her down a little.

Im pretty sure one of them is ready for the cat drench but I gave them straight water and will do the CD next time. The Carnival buds are pretty scraggly and hoping she'll be ready in 4-5 days. The one I added to bloom was technically flipped today. The other 2 are+ 19.

Great job so far count me in.looks like ur tent is similar size to mine.and i also have goliath in the tent and plants are growing faster than ever.best of luck mate il be watching.happy growing;)
