Amy Gardner Of Eden: Perpetually Organic

:happy-birthday: to your wife, dynamo!

And, I  sunshine, too. It is always great!

I have fond memories of using a darkroom and dodging and burning

Believe it or not, I once took 2 B/W classes in college. I am not sure where the negatives ever went.:hmmmm:
What great fun it was and a welcome difference from the other more 'technical' classes I took. It was very nice to have a darkroom at my disposal. I dont even have that 35mm camera anymore.
:snowboating:lost like leafs to the wind.

GrateDay:Namaste:

I have fond memories of using a darkroom and dodging and burning and deciding on which grade of paper and length of exposure from neg to paper - when the description of photography as “painting with light” is just as relevant as when you’re taking the photo. It was a very physical and intuitive process and the idea that that is somehow “playing” or “performing” the negative is really fecund. Watching my father printing his black and whites was definitely like watching beautiful, silent, performance art. And I can see it now - in the semi darkness of course.
This! ↑

I was a professional photographer in NY in the mid to late 80s, almost entirely B&W and developed and printed in my kitchen/darkroom. There was certainly a magic about it.
Cant find much positive nostalgia about the chemicals tho!
They didn't bother me much, but when I think of the amount of water that flowed down the sink back then it makes me crazy! I guess NYC rarely was in drought. At least I hope so!
:ciao: Hi Amy, we are celebrating the wife's B-Day and the sun is outand it's on with the show. Sending you lots of love
Happy belated birthday to the missus! :happy-birthday:

I still have my 35mm film cameras and lenses under my bed, along with binders and binders of all my negatives/slides archivally stored in sleeves. No idea why though. :hmmmm:

Please pardon the intrusion, maybe you and/or your followers might be interested :cheer:

If so, please apply in the comparative grow thread, as I won't be responding to replies here :thanks:

Amy I’ve heard you mention the Candida strain a few times- would you mind explaining about it and why you like it?
its just the nicest friendliest "best" feeling CBD I have tried. Either to toke or as an oil. I've used a few different kinds of CBD oil, including fairy high-quality commercial ones, and my oils from Candida CD-1 are definitely better. It just has 'something' - an x-factor I suppose - and it feels especially magical to me.

The CBD#1 from Ace is also very smooth. Candida is no longer available as seed. It seems they (MMG the breeders) have been contracted to to a multi-national and can no longer make the seed available to us normal folks. That was always their priority so it may become available from them again one day.

Nice to see you're still alive. I was getting worried about you. :hugs:  :hugs:
