Nice update, I'm looking forward to your harvest this weekend!

They're looking good. Outdoor it's a constant process of selection, but as soon as you find a cultivar that works for you, things start getting speed. How does this Candida smell?

Thanks Con! yeah, I feel like I’ll be ‘auditioning’ varietals for a few seasons yet.

The Candida has been subtle, but has a delicate floral-ness amongst the classic sharper smells. It’squute difficult to distinguish because the lemony passion fruit of the Critical Mass is so full on. I’ll be sure to report back on that once the CM is out of the way. :)

Think well about your environment: latitude, RH throughout the season, how long/short it is, winds, bugs, rains and then settle on something that can successfully cope with all these things.

looks like a fantasy creature
I know right! :D

This one is pretty small only half an inch or less. I’d guess you have more cool bugs than you know. It’s honestly what I love most about my camera and macro photography - being able to see this cool detail the naked eye can never see. Trichomes, cool ant features etc. Butterflies up close are amazing!

Last night I quick dried some Critical Mass (and cleaned my Arizer stems).

Very excellent quality weed this! :thumb:

Me and the other were in wide grin stitches within minutes - the cheek hurtin’ kind - and this mellowed into nice bright chattines for a while. Not actually what I expected from a late harvested ‘indica’ dominant variety. It wound down well into relaxed body and mind soon enough tho. It also produce lots and lots of vapor :slide: It’s very frosty :cheesygrinsmiley:

I don’t know enough to know if this is my preferred kind of indica - I need to explore the Kush world a bit as well. But I can say it’s some of the best quality toke I’ve had. What an awesome future I’m looking at.

Decided to let it have another day of sun and harvest first thing tomorrow - which will be Sunday morning. It’s Saturday morning for me right now and I haven’t even had my wake n bake yet. I’m having a preemptive day of rest today, ahead of harvest tomorrow, so maybe I’ll toke some more of this Afghani x Skunk

:hookah:

See if it will help me rest.

I hope y’all are gearing up for a great weekend, whatever you have planned.

Can really depend on the person a bit too.

Someone write a great description of a classic ‘sativa’ (or equatorial) high. I’ll look back to see, ... I was just going to relay it as best as i could reenmrber but i wouldn’t do it justice. I’ll seek it out first...

Hi d! I use ISO and a bit of salt. I actually have a small, tall, jar about half full of ISO and they go into that as as soon as they need a clean. The lid goes on and then i get to cleaning it when i can. I have 3 stems on ‘rotation’ so they usually get to soak a while. To clean them, I take one out of the jar keeping some of the ISO in there and then put a bit of salt down the tube, block both ends and shake. The salt helps dislodge things :) I use an old toothbrush to scrub out the ‘bowl’ end if needed. Nothing like a clean pipe :D

Goooood morning 420 Magazine!

Harvest on the Critical Mass is slowly getting under way :slide: ... it’s a very slow morning here...

I’m sitting here now, having just fortified myself with breakfast, trying to decide which bud to toke on pre-harvest and I’m spoilt for choice! I need a many sided coin to toss :laughtwo:

Meanwhile I’ve been poking around with some pics i took yesterday. Final portraits of the CM will come with the harvest report, but in the meantime I took a close view of the trichomes on the White Widow and thought I would share these :yummy:
