Alex's - SCROG - 620 Watt CFL's - Actual Wattage - Super Lemon Haze

Hey cnd iv looked allover and it seems impossible to buy that in uk I mean u can buy it shipped but id rather just buy it. Iv done a little reading and it wud seem the uk alternitive is .... black treackle.... here is a link to it could u and anyone else have a look please and confirm its the same product before I pontentialy ruin my girls using it. I'm pretty sure its the same here's the link below
The tin states ... made from cane molasses a source of minerals.... free from artificail colours. Suphor and sulphites.Preservatives. And flavours. Gluten free and suitable for vegans.

Btw King John, I dont want to derail Alex's thread with Lumen debate. I have several links to posts on other forums with proof that more lights = more lumens. But I also can site several the opposite way. Id rather just be done with it. I dont think it important to Alex's cause. Im pretty sure we both agree, more lights = better.
 
Thanks spimp and thanks again. I went ahead and used it. Its the closest I can get so I'll use it weekly or fortnightly I think.
More lights is deffs better spimp I can't fit anymore in there now lol

Hey legalized ul of found my post in maxs thread thrugh my signiture at the bottom of my comments in maxs grow.
I'm following his pc cabinet grow myself.

As for scrog well I could wright a lengthy expenation but I'm sure it will be well documented in the growers lounge section of this site or u coud have a read through my journal?
Basic answer though is you place a chicken wire screen 10 " above pots... let plant grow to it.... bend plant down so it grows along it..... after a while flip 12/12 and alow the plant to grow up thru the screen and alow buds to form..... u maximize light and space and the the general understanding is it increases yield also.... that's the basics and there are many variables dude

Usually u use one screen and bend branches under it untill u flower then u let the plant grow up

Mines got the twist that I trained my branches through the screen then down to it. Then comes my second screen to to support the branches growing up

DAY 11 FLOWERING

Soo all going ok here I hard a quick move around of branches after taking piks today getting flower sites to grow through the squares I want them too.
Got a fairly even canopy so far with all the tops being within 1" of eachother in height
The larger plant has 16 bud sites emerging through the second screen with a fair few that I'm sure will catch up
The smaller plant has 14 and a few also just coming off first screen. I'm guessing the ones coming later will make up the smaller buds in the end
I'll pop another pik on tomoro of thecanopy a bit more open

Also I found a weird little spider and web in the screen today. A completely clear spider. But the good thing I guess is there were no bugs of nastys in his web :)

Yes got sorted mate turns out lyles black treacle is almost identical to american moasses. Miniscule difference in certain values but almost identical. Iv not noticed a difference yet. Had first water with it the other day
Watering schedule wil be

Sunday- flowering nutes
Wednesday- molasses

And last week just water. Or something there or there abouts

Yea man fimming looks awsome. I read it can potentialy create 4 tops. And the stress is minimal as aposed to normal toping.
Kinda wished id fimmed
Never used reg skunk but I'm sure itel be real nice. U buying cloned or seeds?
 
Ill have to be getting seed as they don't got a clone of that. But yeah really excited to be getting done with these ladies and getting down and dirty with the case to really maximize the potential as I said aiming for a minimum yield of 50g any less and it's going to be a sad harvest hahaha. I'm going to have to take a day this coming week to get more knowledge on all theses little tricks growers have and then implement them into my grow. Seeing as not much is left to be done with my plants. I'm thinking of investing money ill be getting from grandma into a tent and all that goodness and will be growing one fat lady :) ill have to see what I come up with as there are a few things on my wish list. Haha. Time for a smoke then uploading my pics of the plants the last two days.
 
Cool cool on that big huge worldwide auction site iv seen a tent measure about 3ft x 2ft x 4ft high for memory serves me right around £40 uk pounds. That size imo is great for a scrog. So will u be heading for HPS or stiking with CFL?
Sure ule hit ur 50 plus with yield . I love talking yield lol
