Hey hogdog :) nice to see u here. I can't say if iv noticed slh to be slow growing. This is my first grow in a yeaf and Its cfl as aposed to usually hps so I don't have a comparisson. Id say mine have been good steady growers with growth explosions after minor defoliations :) I'm keen to see ya new round of piks thanks ror the reps :)
 
Iv had a brain wave with todays major defoliation dilema. My top screen could in theory just be disconected... lifted off... defoled and then sat bak on. I think it would work. The top screen shouldn't have any braches intertwined in it and the ones iv bent about should have mature enuf stems to hold themselves in place ... I think. That's my idea so far. Got all day to change me mind. Obviously the top screen would then be poped bak on top
 
Yeah cos iv got two screns. The plants are intertwined in the first so that's going no were but the branches mainly grow strate up through the second one so I should just be able to lift it and replace it at the end
 
when you added the second screen, I was wondering when this would come up.

My next scrog run I will work a 2 screen system .
Screen 1 placed approx 3" from base of plant, to train and restrain
waiting till day 21 of flower and after heavy defol ( by this time I should have a good idea of canopy level) to add the second as support for the rest of the grow.

Yea I understand all that I made mine diferent it done away with a lot of veg time just shot myself in the foot a little lol it will be cool I'm removin top screep and I'll put it back after I'll pop up piks later
 
Change of plans iv had a day out at the beach with the mrs
Fish n chips and a bit paddling in the shallows lol
By the time I got home it was 7:00 only leaving 30mins for defol so its pushed bak til tomorrow

Tonights blunt in blueberry kush....aparently!!! Half the time these super sounding strain the suppliers claim to have turns out to be absolute shite!!!
Roll on a steady supply of home grown :)
I always smoke more when iv got more lol but I rekon I smoke 1-2g a day probs closer to 2g if my vegging girl is ready to flower soon as this grow is done there will be 70 days between harvests 70 days x2g is 140g so I need 5oz give or take a bit between harvests. Doubt I'll make that this time but that's my goal for the future runs future runs will be under 400 metal halide vegg and 400/600 hps flowering depending on the weather and my being able to control temps
Maybe I wouldnt need quite as much between harvests if the SLh lives up to its super potency and 22%thc content
 
This is the exact reason I started a 3 week cycle every three weeks I've started a set, only problem I have is only the last set is know for fact to be females as they are cuts from my WR and AK but yeah thats the idea make enough money to cover the grow and keep me in smoke!!!!:high-five:

thats my plan now aswell. but the problem is its divided my 3 as im the dr greenthumb for my other silent investors that i flat with :P shhhh. anyways. with the expectations i have of being able to grow in there i think ill be able to cover our smokes and harvest in check not to have to buy again is a dream atm, but working on making it a reality. id love to do a rotating cycle but that would involve a veg tent and hellz no am i getting another tent now. bring on the ganja!
 
If ur not havin a seperate room for veg max I guess ul be looking 12-14 weeks bettwen harvests. Man ul need to be producing some skme to keep 3 going flr that long..... not saying it can't be done as I'm sure it can.....what numbers are u looking
