Alaskan1's Flo n Gro Mixed Bag Grow

Bro A1, I'll be honest and tell you that I've skipped through a bunch...I see you'r getting ready for something BIG.

Good luck and I'll be peeking in more often. :peace:

Thanks for droppin in again Sisco, I wouldn't say you've missed much. Hopefully this second grow will produce. My first grow was a disaster....and thats wording it nicely lol :Namaste:

Well, did some defoliation today. I'll be honest, I let them go much further then I should have but I was in just too much awe at how they were growing each day and wanted to see what they would look like the next day. I'd go look at my plants before I even made coffee. It was like Christmas each day.

I have some before and after pics.

short back and sides, just the way they should be, also ive just noticed something, your plants are growing how mine are growing. the spacing between nodes on mine is very very close, my plants are only small and weeks behind yours but the new branches growing at the stem of mine are upto the height of the next node all ready and it hasnt even got fully developed leads on the new branches, my last plant didnt grow like this, it had longer stem and longer branches but this time round the plant seems to have very little stretch at all, is this a good thing or not, i guess only time will tell,

stunning plants by the way, i love checking into all the journals im subd on, each picture shows how the plants are doing and how quick they really take to grow, but its never quick enough,

Most of the plants were started a month ago. I had two that were in bubbler buckets and were very sick and at least a month old. They seem to have caught up to everything and are doing very well now.
I have one urban poison that has nodes everywhere. Had so many I got tired of counting them!

I'm probably not the best person to get advice from it seems. So on your "stretch question " you might be better served asking another more knowledgable member of the board. :Namaste:

Thanks for looking in donpaul. I always appreciate your presence! :thanks:

Thanks again my friend :Namaste:

I love taking pictures and comparing them to the last ones I took. My wife and I are actually thinking of doing a time lapse video of a grow.

i time lapse video would be a brilliant idea, would love to see the results if you ever get round to doing one, my camera editing skills are pretty much none existant, i point n click n when needed press print so dont think i could do time lapse myself plus you need to have decent pictures all the way through the grow and my first pictures fall well below any quality standards, but a time lapse video would look good,

All trimmed up and ready to put on a show. :high-five:

Wow you've had some nice growth :MoreNutes:
4" in one day now that's a healthy plant! The 1st Pics before the defoliation looks like a jungel is growing in your tent, at this rate you're going to need a machete to trim soon:cheesygrinsmiley:
I love the ballast rack it looks good and functions for cooling you can't beat that:bravo:
A time laps would be pretty sweet.

Yes, we had some REALLY nice growth. I'm betting the defoliation will slow things down a bit until they recoup from the deforestation lol

Thanks for poppin in Smallz! :high-five:

Ok, so I need to figure out if these are girl plants or the dreaded BOY plants. I'm too inexperienced to tell at this point. Any help is appreciated !!!!!!!

I see no telltale signs just yet... What you're looking for is 2 tiny white hairs... Like this:

Hi A1 -

I'm not seeing anything yet, but it's tough to tell in pictures sometimes. Sometimes they will show preflowers earlier, but they often don't show their sex until about day 10-12 of Bloom phase. To date, I've never had one take longer than day 15 bloom.

This might be helpful:

Things are looking great! They look so healthy. Your growth rates are phenomenal, now it's time to hang on tight and sweat the stretch. The first few weeks of bloom are always the hardest for me because I'm worrying they won't stop growing up -- and they can be really hard to keep up with. It should help that you've trimmed them up some.
