Have A great Christmas, Al ,and best wishes for the coming new year!

Looking good Al great job, may your flower tent always be full. As well as some well stocked jars full of some fine bud

I have 23 mostly full jars with 6 strains among them. Thank you, PC. Happy Holidays!

Lots of good strains, including @Tangled 's fav - Wedding Cake - in this grow and some clones from the last round plus the MH1 re-veg seems to be doing well. The new NL clone did not make it so I'll have to take another. Some experimentation going on with the re-veg.

Thank you, carcass. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to y'all!

Thanks, BLS. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Happy holidays to you and all Alafornia :ciao:

:thumb: Everything looks great in the garden as usual!

Thank you, Amy. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Been a busy night.

I topped the new plants from seed and took clones.

Also took new clones of the clones so hopefully they all take.

All the plants sat out of the tent today after the neem spray yesterday.

Though I'd lay out my cloning process. It's pretty simply:

First, prepare some soil. Since these are clones I use only supersoil. With new seeds I use 1/3-1/2 super soil and the rest plain potting soil. There's no need to do that since these are mature plants and can take the extra nutrients.

Poke a hole in the middle to place the stem from your cutting into the soil and sprinkle with mycorrhizae to cover the inside edges of the hole. The mycorrhizae form a symbiotic relationship with your plant's roots - without them your plant could not absorb nutrients from the soil.

Bring your plant on over.

Take your cutting and immediately place it in water.

Let it sit there a few minutes. You can take this time to trim the leaves so they don't touch the inside of the cup your going to cover your clone with later.

Next is the cloning/rooting gel. I slather a little coating on there by rolling the stem around in it.Your new plant has no roots and this gel is a hormone to stimulate roots to grow.

Then place it into the hole in the soil your prepared earlier and gently massage the soil around the stem to cover in the hole and provide your new plant with support. Make sure to try to position your new plant where the leaves are away from the edges of he cup.

At this point I give the soil a good watering and then drain off as much as I can and cover the new clones with dixie cups to keep most of the light out. The dark cup over the top serves two purposes:

1. it helps keep light out. Darkness stimulates root growth.

2. It keeps moisture in for your new plant's leaves to absorb. Since your new plant doesn't have roots it can't get water from the soil. The leaves serve that purpose as they can absorb water from the air so your plant doesn't dry out and wilt/die. This will need to stay on until your new plant has roots.

For the records - I put my soil into clear cups and then place the clear cup into a dark/colored cup so that any roots are covered in darkness since roots do not appreciate the light. Both of these cups will need holes in the bottom for drainage. The clear cup can be removed from the other cup to check your roots. Two reasons for doing this are to verify that there are roots and to see if your root system is sufficient for up-potting later one. Long story short, you want well developed roots prior to up-potting. The goal is to have a good root ball for flowering, but that has to be developed all throughout the vegging stage. I'll be up-potting soon so I'll try to have/show some good roots then.

The veg tent after all was done:

Hope y'all are having some Happy Holidays.

It's been good here. I'm home the next few days so hopefully I can get some rest and still get a little work done along with watching far too many bowls games.

Great tutorial Al!

I didn’t see it your directions, but if you cut the bottom of the stem on the clone on a 45, then lightly scrap the stem with a knife where rooting gel gets applied, the stem has an easier time rooting then if it weren’t. :thumb:

I've done it both ways and had good luck. I didn't do it at all this time so we'll have to see what my success rate is this time.

I’m sure you’ll knock it outta the park! :ganjamon:

So far so good so let's hope.

I took a few pics tonight. I haven't done many single plant pics. Sorry, just been overwhelmingly busy of late, but I'll do just a bit to make up for it. Not quite singles so much as small groups to give you a little more detail.

OG Kush is the tallest one here, which is maybe odd for an indica. It seems to internodal spacing is pretty far. Thinking about a 20/4 light cycle the next grow round. This light has a lot of red so maybe that has something to do with it but last grow I accidentally ran 24/0 for a while and the spacing was a little tighter. Just thinking out loud.

On the more mature clones they seem a little busy with lots of vegetation in a tight space - in some ways the opposite problem as above. Think I'll wait to get them to flower before I do too much trimming away.

Things have been somewhat quiet here. I'll take it. Just waiting on the boy to step out a bit.

Probably going to do some oil and make some capsules tomorrow. I tested out the Instant Pot Max pressure cooker as recommended and it survived. I'm going to experiment some with it but I think I'll do a small first batch of OG Kush CBD, which is 10% THC/10% CBD. Eventually I will do a small batch with a mixture as originally planned. I may do that tomorrow as well. My thinking is that having multiple strains in the capsules will increase the cannabinoid profile and enhance the desired effects. @Tangled has tried this with some success, first by accidentally enough smoking a mixture of OGK CBD, BB, NL, OS, and WR from stuff that had fallen through the grinder into a bottom chamber (the kind with the screen below this chamber with a real bottom chamber that catches trichomes that fall through). The effect were enhanced and she liked it enough to intentionally do a mix the next time. I think I'll do the first test batch with coconut oil and move to EVOO. We have enough already to do some experimenting and have plenty in the grow tent to replenish supplies quickly. I should be able to get this done and still watch far too much college football.

Looking good in there Ala...... great tutorial again.... keep em coming....and late of course... But I hope you all had a Merry
Christmas and that you have a wonderful new year!
