Alafornia's 1st Time Multistrain Medical Grow

"Chop, chop, chop...trim , trim, trim.....
Keep the buds,... rest in the bin...."

Its a lil trimmers ditty..hehe.
Best of luck on Nikita mate, will be decent numbers on her , she's nice and fat.

Oh, yeah...Fat and juicy!

Nice ditty sure, but can you keep that up for 3+ hours?

I couldn't. lol Took right at 4 hours to get her cut, trimmed, washed, hung, and the buckets cleaned with a couple ready for the next time I need it.

I usually have music on Shed, that helps and having everything organized beforehand.
Ditty helps some, but a good playlist of trimming music is essential, especially if trimming alone.... Just press play and into it!

I usually do have music or sports going but needed to clear my head today.

Phewf! I was imagining you trimming for hours on end with nothing but that ditty in your head...torture!

Hahahaha!

Woohoo!

Pics and initial numbers coming up!

I actually feel weird now with no plant in the flower tent at all. Also amazed that I am done with my first full grow. I mean, I still have stuff going and haven't decided yet what to do with the journal yet. This journey began about one year ago. It was around this time last year when I began thinking about it and researching. It wasn't until June when we planted. And here we are through one grow.

OK, enough melancholy for the night. Nikita has produced a LOT of good medicine.

Untrimmed weight: 577.8 grams or 20.38 oz.

Trimmed weight: 512.5 grams or 18.08 oz or 1 lb 2.1 oz.

Wow! I'm impressed. I knew she be heavy. Frankly, if I hadn't rushed her a bit she might have reached 1.5 lbs wet. I ain't complaining at all.

Pics follow.

Nice work Al, grow is over, so now time to enjoy your harvest !
Wet weighing sets you up for dissapointment when dry, is why I dont weigh wet. Other than that, you learnt really fast and its great thing to see someone get it to the end without killing them , first go.

Last comment..... Get those trimmers and a razor blade, scrape the blades down and collect all the charas.
Put in a joint or bong....Flavour Country.

That’s actually a great reason. I have never bothered because, it’s no good to me wet. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Al isn’t a smoker though. Maybe one day we can coax him into an enjoyable evening, while he, enjoyed a bowl!:cheesygrinsmiley:

Great job Al! I’m so pleased to see you have a successful growing experience! Congrats to you, and your family! :adore:

I know at best it will likely be 1/4 of the wet weight, so I'm good. It helps me learn for now. I may abandon it at some point.

I killed one before it could sprout and almost killed Westley. She produced well and so did her supposed replacement, Nikita. Six strains, eight seeds, seven made it to the end. Not bad for the first time.

I can't wait to see what the final yield/watts turns out to be. That will be interesting, to me at least.

I'll have to collect the charas next time for Tangled and see how that goes.

Thank you, BLS! One day I will have a story to tell.

No pure pressure! :slide:

Don't worry. I'm a stubborn ass. When I feel pressured it just makes me want to go against whomever is applying the pressure (ask Tangled :D ). I feel no pressure at all on this. :)

:bravo: Fantastic start to finish ‘fornia!

Thank you, Amy.

Perfect!

Because, there was a foot! And I was about to put it in my mouth!

Haha! Do you have foot-in-mouth disease? :D

Congratulations on getting a great first grow into the books! And being recognized as GJOTM in the process. An all around win! Excellent.

And I hope things are going well inside the house as they are in the garage.
:Namaste:

Thank you very much, Shed.

Things are better inside the house. Not great, but better. Things have calmed down a bit. He's engaging with his teachers. In short - we are seeing some improvement. I'll take it. He's almost as stubborn as me. Almost.

only when I need that extra “hand” for eating!:laughtwo:

That is great to here! I mean it’s a blessing in disguise that he’s not as stubborn as you!

jokes aside, that’s awesome improvements, hopefully that ball stay rolling in the right path!:high-five:

Glad you have an extra "hand" for doing stuff. That must really come in "handy".

Yeah, maybe he is slowly wearing down.

First pitch and he hits a grand slam. Congrats!

Thanks, @Fudo Myoo .

Flower tent is still empty and the lights are off.

Veg tent is full - FULL, I tell you! I got mothers and clones and re-vegs and young vegging plants (that sure look much greener since the transplant into 1 gal pots).

Turned the light in there from 195 to 245 watts. Moved the light over a bit so OG Kush could get a few more photons. Watered one mother, the re-veg plants, and the older clones. Picked off some yellow and dried leaves.

I crashed pretty quick last night. Today was another long day. Computers were on the fritz half the damn day. Hope things get back to normal soon.
