AIO vs DIY Monotub: Purple Mystic Takes On Blue Meanie Cubes

Almost 2 full days since inoculation. Inspected the AIO bag, no sign of mycelium or condensation yet...

Just forget for a week. That used to be my trick. Otherwise, I’d obsess everyday lol.
Yea, that's about how long it took for the Blue Yeti Liquid Culture inoc to take. And yes, I obsess too, lol!

I'm in for this one. Hope there is room in the Laboratory for me.
Plenty of room in cyber-space, Ramblinrose1965, I cleared out some sparkly fractals and multi-dimensional lofts for more guests. 🍄🍄🍄:lot-o-toke:

Thanks Becca now your talking! Love those sparkly fractals.

Speaking of obsession... I just checked the 🍄 bag again:ganjamon: and I think can see some faint condensation appearing around the SHIP. Not real discernable in photos yet, but it looks to have started to grow. The syringe I used had a thick, THICK cloud of dikaryotic mycelium in it.

That's why I like liquid cultures- you're starting with dikaryotic mycelium right off the bat so it is ready a week sooner. The drawback is they are only good for 6-8 months even in the fridge.

will watch the show to see how they grow !!!!!!!!!!! Peace (anyone ever smoke them ? - talk about a fast awakening !!! but I wonder what it does to your lungs - will the spores start to grow in the lungs ???? and then what ??????
Some dealers with substandard weed around here in the 90s used to sprinkle mushroom dust onto their weed.
I never tried it myself, but apparently there were some intense reactions. No lung problems as far as I know.

Other than in Carlos Castaneda's books, I've never read or heard anything about smoking them. Can they be smoked and do they get you high? More info please, @safeman

I did read of a case where a pot smoker was discovered to have the sclerotia of a common soil fungi growing in his lungs. It seems unlikely to me to be true, though, as the lungs, while damp, don't offer the right nutrient combination for mushrooms, and most folks would cough up anything big enough to cause irritation.

There's no spores from the blue yetis... maybe I'll try smoking some of it.

edited to add: Bong maybe will capture the spores...

Hmm, I think I'll stick with eating them. They don't burn well, kind of harsh, too. I don't feel much but I only took a couple puffs.

You can get fungal infections in the lungs, but I'm pretty sure you're right that shrooms aren't that type of fungi.
People who didn't know the dust was on the weed reported visual effects. 🤷‍♂️

It must have been concentrated, @Melville Hobbes - smoking 2 or 3 grams of flame retardant shrooms would be difficult, lol

It is, isn't it? It trips me out looking at it straight. It strikes me as a salvia type hallucination, reminds me of sally's big anti-gravity rush...
