Hey ddluck nice job on a new setup gud luck hope they turn out better then my first auto attempt lol but jus alil info on the vipraspectra light i have a 600w full spectrum and its a gud light 4 veg BUT DOES NOT have enuf red for flower now it does work in flower but u wont have very frosty buds they will be very green lookn once i put my mars hydro 150 watt on the lower buds on my purple kush my buds exploded with frost so for a flower light i wud go with a mars hydro relector led series very great lights for both veg and flower n produce great results and also very gud pricing jus thought i wud let u no since i bought my vipraspectra light ill b using it in my veg tent instead of my flower tent

Ive actually heard from a few different people tht the vipraspectra doesnt have alot of red its not tht its a bad livht per say its jus ur not guna get as much of the frosty triches as a light tht has mre red in it

I've got a 50w LED panel that has some pretty good red maybe I can just hang it sideways during flower too and that would help a little. This bums me out

Check out my journal and look at my flowering purple kush like about 10 days ago and the main cola was like all green and barely any frost now tht the lower buds have been under my mars hydro they r all frosty now so i figured id lower my plant to get the cola under the mars as well and tht was like 3 days ago r so n now the cola is fattening up gettn alot denser and getn alot more frost on it so idk but the results speak for themselves lol but like i said its not tht its a bad light i jus think the mars is alil better for flowering.

I am doing the same with CFLs. I have the 600w ViparSpectra, and am now keeping veg off.

dnt worry to much jus get another mars hydro 300 from ebay they are only like 75 bux and hang tht sideways with ur 50w and tht shud be decent what was the size of ur tent again??

It's 5ft tall 4 ft wide and 2ft deep, I got my viparspectra today...annoying that I bought it to find this out.

yea I feel ya bro but atleast u found out now rather then how I found out by growing out my purple kush and finding out it didn't turn out as frosty as I had hoped only I was lucky enuf to have my mars hydro 150w led cubes already so tht saved my ass otherwise I wud have some not purple half ass kush but yea if u can I wud go with mars hydro but if not and have to go cheaper jus get sumthn tht has more red spectrum in it but yea what all r u working with for strains?? I am currently tryn to get another auto going my first 2 didn't go so gud only 1 grew both popped but only 1 grew and then I fuked it up lol and topped it to early so it stayed only like an inch ana half tall it has like 6 buds on it lmao but they are full bowl buds so wen its done I bet I will have a whole whopping half 8th haha but atleast I will have a few bowls of some blueberrys lol I cant wait for my electric fruit auto which is what I'm tryn to start now gets done I hope it turns out all fruity like the name suggests but yea as for photos I have a nice lineup of flavors coming I have pineapple skunk, early vixen again and a purple kush clone as well and the two new 1s I'm trying to start now both popped but jus waiting for them to pop above the soil now they are in the ground but they are kali mist and then my electric fruit auto so yea pretty tastey lineup id say

k so I cant download pics 2day but I got a new auto going I germd her and put into soil about 4 days ago or so but 2day she popped above soil its my electric fruit auto so as soon as I'm able to download pics again ill post pics of her but here is my blueberry auto tht I think I messed up by topping to late so she is like a 1ana half inch bud lol there are 6 buds on her but not tall at all so I'm guessing about an 8th to half 8th wen its dry lol anyway here she is
