"There's too many ears in the cornfield" now, so I have to wait to watch the vids, but I wanted to comment now then play some ghosts till the corn's been harvested so to speak. About your harvest, is there a round about percentage of ambers till you get the axe? If the 2 plants show their signs at different ages, would you then give each their own feed schedule to accommodate the needs individually?

Also, about the pH, when you first mix up your res, do you acidify with ml or drops? I seem to have gotten a hold of my issue and will recirculate for a few days just to make sure, but when I first mix, I just went to 1.5ml of DOWN then another .5 (in 2 gal res) and the swing is now less than .8 per day.

I want a higher percentage of cloudy trichomes than amber.

If the bagseed shows signs of maturation more than 2 weeks before the Bubb, then that will be the only exception for when I will separate feeding schedules and amounts. But if not, the Bubb gets priority, as the bagseed will only be used for personal smoke.

>>>Also, about the pH, when you first mix up your res, do you acidify with ml or drops?

I acidify with ml. I used to add 90ml per 15gallons to get from a pH of 7.1 to 6.0. Now I only use 40ml per 15 gallons to drop to the same amount.

Come on bubs. This stuff taste sooo good. Keep up good work A.G.

Hey Dusty, when you grew this strain did you notice any weird leaf coloration? Anything that you noticed the plant was easily prone to?

Is that an EC with a .5 conversion. If so you would be sitting around 500PPM, correct me if I'm wrong. I assume a lower PPM/EC value would be needed for a DWC setup. I've been getting a lot of Magnesium deficiencies lately, with Potassium deficiencies popping up only twice so far, at the beginning of 12/12 and now halfway through flower.

I will try to take note this time, but if memory serves me correctly, it only took me about 1ml/gal of DOWN to stabilize.

Anything new with the Bubbs?

Anything new with the Bubbs?

Hey Sky, thanks for stopping by!

Deficiency wise, I am now realizing that a lack of Magnesium is drawing near. A lot of light-green edging along the foliage across all the tops, regardless of canopy height. I can definitely rule an Mg deficiency a prime candidate.

As for the Potassium problems, I think I have steered clear of the problem for now. Since adjusting the humidity to above 50%, and readjusting my fans to provide more airflow, I have not noticed much worsening of the 'K'-responsible burned tips.

And your PH? I may have stumbled onto a discovery, or at least in my situation. Last night about 9PM EST, I mixed my res to aerate over night and mix thoroughly to get accurate readings. When doing so, I mixed in 1.5ml of PH DOWN into the water first and let that mix for 10-15 minutes, then added all my nutes. Before I explain further, the last 2 res swaps I used no less than 2ml to start after I mixed in my nutes. I also would normally need to add 10-20 drops daily to bring it back down. This time I started with 75% of the normal DOWN dose, and before you consider the amount of water, I first overshot PPM by a lot so I added another 3/4 gallon of water totaling 2.75 gallons, the PH is hopping back and forth between 5.6 and 5.7. All in all, I also have 2.75ml of silica added to help combat the downward draw, but it seems this is the number it wants to be at.

Of course this could be an isolated incident, and I will test the theory with the next change. I am now interpreting it that the DOWN mixed with water allowed the down more even disbursement which is allowing it to work better at a smaller dose. I just wanted to share that with you, and maybe your experience may help to shed some light on the matter.

I too am fighting off a K def from low RH by adding 2 tank tops with small bowls of water under them to allow the shirts to wick. Also have fans blowing straight at the shirts to get moisture into the air and limit direct breeze over leaves which still has a random breeze in the cabinet, but nothing direct on the plant. Wish I could get RH just a bit higher, but I'm doing my best.

Is anyone having difficulty uploading pics tonight? I also notice that I did not get one single email from 420 today. Usually I get no less than about 30 a day, on slow days. I PMed 420Girl, so hopefully she can resolve that. I got my hands on a different cam and was able to get better pics, just gotta wait to upload them.

So you are saying adjusting the pH of the water prior to adding nutrients is stabilizing your res and allowing less amounts of pH Down? Well that is something to consider for my next res change. I will adjust before-hand and update you on the results. One question, did you adjust pH of your distilled water down to the 5.8 range or did you adjust to account for the nutrients naturally acidic affect?

>>>Is anyone having difficulty uploading pics tonight?

Same here, I have not checked the status of it since yesterday though.

>>>Hey A.G. how much did your bubs streach?

After I flipped over to a 12/12 schedule? Well, my transition was a bit more complicated as I put on my trellis at the beginning of stretch whilst I still had 1 more transplant to do. I then removed the trellis after 1 week of growth, transplanted, then reapplied the trellis.

So since my stretch period was somewhat staggered, I could say all in all, the Bubb grew at least 6-10 inches all around. Next time around I will properly plan my transplants to get a more even canopy.

Hey buddy just stopping by and catching up. Glad your sorting issues before they become to big, as usual :). I love the way you pay so much attention and spot issues well early. Looking forward to more pics and enjoying your work! Best of buds my pal.

Hey Light, thanks for stopping by, as always you are welcomed anytime. And thanks for the kind words :Namaste: The Mg deficiency is hopefully residing after I added 10ml of CaliMagic into my 7.5 gallon reservoir. When are you getting your feet wet in a hydro setup Light:hmmm:
