A lot more amber in color ( which is not clear ) and a little thicker.

Now I am going to make something to eat. See y'all later
Looks great and healthy good work

Morning all. it's a cold, wet, blustery morning here on the east coast today.
I got most of the work done on the grow cupboard yesterday. I had to work on Saturday but I was able to pick up the timer and the rest of the power supply Items.
All that is left to do is seal off the cupboard for light leaks and put plastic sheeting on the floor. I should get to it this week in between another busy work schedule and having to appear in court as a witness for somebody in an assault case.
I should have time in between so by the weekend the cupboard should be in place and have the first plant going.
I am going to transfer Gertie from the greenhouse as I am attempting to do some mainlining on this plant.
Another work day so I must get ready. I will post some pics when I get home.
:peace:

My laptop seems to have packed up on me so I am going to attempt this on my phone.
The veg grow cupboard update. Did this work yesterday.
Hinge holes drilled for opening side panel.

All thats left is to make sure the doors seal and put some plastic sheeting on the floor.

I had great success with my clones using the plastic bag over them to help with humidity. Only problem was the mother turned out to be a father. They rooted wonderfully. Then I threw them away. It was a good exercise and I am using the bags on girl clones now.
Nice roots on man clones

Now they gone.

Is that a mechanical timer there? U sure u don't want to change to electronic? If the power goes, out mechanicals will pick up where they left when it is back, instead of doing their job as a timer...

Thanks Katins. I know that can be a problem. Not so much for me here on the tomato farm. When the power goes, which has been often, a generator kicks in and turns off when power is restored. Plus it is a low budget DIY cupboard. Usually it means a bit more manual input to keep it running ok. Budget spent so far R1100.00 or around $80.
I definitely would put better goodies in if all materials were new and I was aiming high end stealth for re-sale.
My veg fridge has been running on a timer like this one for about 6 months now without to many hiccups.

I am reasonably happy overall on the budget so far. Also have provision if I decide to put in more lights and a other or better fan.
Thanks for the interest and following this budget build.

Ah, the luxury of a generator :)

Ah, the luxury of a generator :)

One of the many reasons why I enjoy being here. Cupboard is done. Waiting for the silicon on the plastic sheet to dry and stick a handle on the door. Then going into it's place next to the wifes side of bed.
I need two days or so for the silicon to cure and fumes to dissipate.. Will post pics tomorrow.
Sorry 'bout the man and his man-babies strain! Cupboard looks crazy awesome though. Your pistils definitely look more orange in the newer pics.

Definitely more orange. Going to give it two weeks or so before I think harvest. Getting impatient. I took a sample pop corn bud from lower down which is drying for my wife to sample. She would smoke it today if I let her. But it's ok she is busy rolling a WW joint as I type.
I am going to post an update of greenhouse plants just now.

Finally the grow cupboard is finished an in place. My wife has decided sge wants to paint the outside so she is busy but it is done.
Gertie will have a new home on Friday. She tested it and said it's lekker.
