Dark green can be normal it varies from strain to strain. You could have had the fan blowing to hard and affecting the fan leaves.

@Pennywise thats another reason i want a bigger tent i bought the smallest clip on fan i could find and has 2 settings i have it on low. Most tents i see have at least 2 fans. I think once i get my vent setup prolly wont need a fan in the small tent.
It can be a problem if the plants are young or small.

Oh you meant the fan making my leaves darker? I believe your right about it being the strain. But i watch carefully cause with nute block or nitrogen toxicity youll see the very tips become a very dark green before they claw. But you definitely gotta look close cause your trying to push the plants nute to the max, so color is what i question. Once the leaf is mature i notice it takes on this color.

@Pennywise ya before i bought a clip fan i had this little like desk heater that had a fan option but it couldnt blow for crap could literally sit it in front of the plant. Used it more just to circulate the air.
No need to push them that far, they can only use X amount of nutrients and that’s it. Once you get to that point you’re just hindering the plant.

Well i mean using nutes at full strength. Even then its a bit too much in my rez so i end up diluting it anyways. My last week of veg , 1st week into flower i fed them right around 1100 ppm, and ill leave that until nxt sunday when i do a change out. Daily just check PH and i marked a fill line on my drain tube and just add fresh water. Didnt mean it like im trying to over feed it. Meant your trying to give the max the plant will take or eat without overfeeding. Dunno if i made sense
It makes sense, if you see nute burn on the tips just back off a touch. Or if you start seeing lockouts then back off.

Yea ever since that one that you helped me with i keep a close eye on those tips, even before they yellow or clay they will be ever so darker then the rest.

@Growingasmile few weeks late on that , i dont have any burn now besides the old leaves. @Pennywise ya we know im working on my environment, have a friend thats goin to loan me a 450 for flower. He has a KIND K5000 , its online for 1600 and change he said its = to 1000 watt HPS he said he would work with me on the price but i dont see me getting that one. Hes going to come help me set up ventilation and when i get bigger tent co2 tanks beast of a setup.

Ya he was telling me the difference youll see over night especially since i went into flower

@Kismet was looking on hlg website how come the board is cheap? Like 100 bucks or does it need more pieces? @Pennywise i see on their site what you were saying the PPH or forgot where i seen it, now the higher the number the better i assume?

Yes cannabis needs around 500-600 ppfd in veg and 900-1000 ppfd in flower. I’ll have to look but the 260w kits were around $350

260s by hlg? The hlg 100 that kismet has is no where near those numbers in a 2x2 area for veg
