Action's Never Ending Grow

Being in flower with both of them I would be giving 5 or 5.5g/4L now. They are hungry and missing out on some of the secondary and micro nutrients.

I grow in 5gal pots and roughly every three days I give them between 3-4L of water, so you may want to give them some more if you don't see a bit of runoff.

The SC in the 2.5L the same rules apply so if you were giving 600mL try giving 1L or until you get a bit of runoff.

So I should have updated what I'm doing to them, sorry lol :lot-o-toke: I have increased the water I'm now feeding them in the 6 gallon pots I'm giving about 3 Litres each and the 2.5 litres I'm giving 900 ml every three days. Now the Dark devil and SC got a feeding last feed of 5 g/4 litres, before that I misread the package of the MC and thought ml measured the same as grams so I had a feeding of probably almost 7g/4 litre, so possibly over feed? But no tip burn. And the caugh and northern lights are getting 4g/4 litres

*and still not getting run off

Hello ActionJackson, I like the pic with the TP, Keep your defoliation leaves nearby just in case. Lol looking forward to more posts. Cheers
Hey @BudShark, appreciate it, yeah the leaves would have been a good idea too. Thanks for stopping by :ganjamon:

OK, so they are getting 5g/4L now and fed 3L with no runoff. Were the signs apparent before or after the 7g/4L? I'm assuming this was the time before your last feed at 5g correct?

So if I understand everything you were giving 4g, then 7g, then 5g once you realized the issue. This was all since Mar 29, just over a week.

Send some pics of the damaged when you have some time of the leaves and where it's most noticeable, ie tops, middles or bottoms.
In the meantime stick between 5 and 6g/4L without the calmag. The damage may have been from too much MC. Although you may not see a tip burn the plant locks out other nutrients when the feed levels get too high.

Yeah that does make sense they are mostly lower/ middle and it's been a little over a week since the beginning of me seeing it, I'll do what you say and stick to the 5g/4litre until maybe I see some of the white hairs curling in. Here are some more of the pics the one with the real bad is from like one of the first leaves it had and is most likely from direct exposure to the soil/nutrients when I LST'd, the first pic is the third node down from the top. Thanks for your help @MrSauga really appreciate it, how do you usually measure out your nutrients?

Tried my digital scale wasnt sure if it would work because it doesn't have it to the decimal point but I did measure 1 tablespoon at 5 grams where the MC site says it measures at 4.9 grams. I would trust it for the 1 full table spoon but when I need say 4 grams, I'm not sure. Maybe I should invest in a better scale.

No problem!
Most kitchen digital scales you can get for under 20.00 and you need at least one decimal point. I use grams for weighing my MC.

I use this scale but there's plenty like it under 20.00.

In Canada a Loonie($1) weighs exactly seven grams so it was convenient when weighing quarters on the street ;)

Common household items that weigh approximately 1 gram include a paper clip, the cap of a ballpoint pen, a stick of gum, a U.S. bill of any denomination, one-quarter teaspoon of sugar, a raisin and a thumbtack.

Yep definitely a scale..i used 1/8 1/4 tsp and it just wasnt as accurate...i got a scale for under 20$, well worth thr investment. The one mrS has posted is a good one, just make sure u get one that has 2 decimals!

Yup definitely not accurate, ordering the scale tonight

Would it be to late to add my second light? We haven't been using the heat as much so the temps would probably be alright, but would the extra light be a shock to the plants? It's another 450 watt viparspectra led
I think youre fine using it. Ive seen many people add half way with no ill effects. That should really boost them!

Really hope so, I've added it and the temp jumped to 79 degrees with the RH staying about 52 or so, temp should lower at night. Thinks it's going to work :cheer:
