Quick update on my Zamadelica
I repotted it from a 3.5 gal to a 10 gal container last week and I'm really glad I did, it's still stretching and really taking off, coming up to week 7 of 12/12 this weekend.
The aroma from this plant is amazing, it kind of reminds me of mango or ylang ylang oil, it must be the beta-Myrcene terpene.

Good thing Wings,...no matter,..they have a mind , all their own. Ok, tonight , before i broke them down (this is NOT supercropping, it's called a MISTAKE) they were about 6inches away from the lights!! They still have another 8 weeks , minimum, prolly more like 10..or even 12 more...i can't imagine (tears fall on keyboard). I'm such an ass.....thinking , i could tame these...ffs's...lmao! Anyhow , enjoy the night..:passitleft:

Lol you'll do fine mate, this ain't your first rodeo :p I'm the one that should be worried, never grown many sativas let alone 100% sativas like the malawi. Oh well live and learn haha

Have a good one mate :passitleft:
If you get really thin leaves on your Malawi you could be in trouble. If they are broader they will be nice and manageable. It's the Old Malawi Killer that's wild. There are a few other phenos that are friendlier to indoor growing.
I suggest going to ACE's website and reading the breeders pack description. It will give you the overview on the 4 main phenotypes and what to expect.

Nothing super thin atm but that could change once put into flower and the growth really takes off, see what happens. These Malawi seeds I have originally came from a seedbank called Afropips (I believe it's a closed seedbank), the guy I got these seeds from is in Canada and these are from his personal breeding stock (the best of the best chemovars of said Afropips Malawi). I've been told they are untested/wild seeds so I should expect A SHIT TONNE of stretch.

I might go have a look but since these are from another seedbank the phenotypes could be different. @tangwena would know more about my Malawi seeds since it was his friend that sent me these. I'm very grateful for how much Tang has helped with gaining african landrace genetics :)

If they are from a different breeder I'd be wary of them being manageable. Dubi has worked the Ace line fairly thoroughly to get the 'wild' structures out. They could be from an entirely different area of Malawi and not share much in the genetics pool as well.
