Ace Panama, Groot, In High Brix

Yes, i remember saying that about your Destroyer. It was very odd that she started to fade so fast like that, that's why i figured , since she was a Sativa, she might not like full strength Drenches. Yes, SO is mixed with Brix at 1-4 ratio.
She still has a ways to go before she's ripe so , we gotta figure this out to bring her to a stronger finish. If your enviro is right ,,..and your soil is active , i see no reason for her early fade , other than that's how she will finish , regardless of what you would do, and some plants are just like this. I remember when Gray ran his first couple Destroyers, they faded fast too , and he/we , wondered why she was going crispy so early. But she finished off her colas nice for him and he eventually won POTY with her so.....:surf:

Nice, thats not a bad deal there, POTM would always be a nice win!

Yes sir, I agree about bringing her around a bit for a stronger finish...
Ok, gotcha. So since the light drenches seem to leave her hungry, or that looks to be the case... I should up my drenches, and try that snake oil on her. So on the SO I just wait until the next Brix is due? Or wait the 5-7 days after last Brix and apply then? Just want to get it to her asap but only if its "safe".

See, that was one of my mistakes with the Panama... I fed too heavy and she wound up looking like crap early on. So I too figured you were spot on with lower drenches, and I did notice the leaf tip burn from too strong of Brix and have backed that off to .75ml instead of 1ml per oz water. Did the same on the Panama too...

At any rate, Destroyer will be due a drench tomorrow, I will feed her around 20ml TP in 1.5gal water with 2ml tea. That sound good? And then spray the SO in a few more days? Or same day as drench? I mean I could feed her today, she is dry enough...

Asking all these questions makes me feel like a total newb, I feel I should have all this down well enough by now to not need to ask such things. I'm not a fan of hand holding, and I usually catch on really fast... so my apologize for apparently being slow with this.

Thank you for the help Duggs! I appreciate you man!

Absolutely no worriez bud. Yes, your plan sounds right. Give her the TP Drench and wait a day or two , then spray , lightly with SO and Brix. It's ok to brix every week to ten days , any more often and u run a risk of burning the roots. I have done this , so...If you keep giving her the care u are,..she will surprise you , i'm sure of that . I still remember Grays ...all her leaves went crispy near the end , but the buds were very , very resinous and he was pleased with her , in the end. cheers eh.

Sweet, thanks again Duggs. Yep you're correct, these buds are frosting up very nice now!
I think I will go ahead with the TP now... only been 3 days but she pretty light already.

Daj, after a few years of practice, I'm only now starting to feel like I understand how to grow sativas indoors. It seems to me that they need more soil volume than hybrids for instance. They grow big and pretty in twice as much soil but there's the rub. Pretty is nice but big isn't. :hmmmm:

When they're young, the soil can support them all by itself, hence less supplemental feeding is good. But as they finish stretch and start filling out buds, I think they need more. So I'm going to try a heavier Trans drench in early bloom. I've been feeding only Growth in bloom, and I go heavy on those after bud set but an early Trans would probably help with early fade.

I love healthy fans too but once they start to fail I just start concentrating on the buds. If there's time in a long finish, like a 10-12 weeker, I'll rotate another Cat cycle into the schedule and back to Growth. The foliage don' like that very much, but at that stage I'm looking for fat buds instead.

We be growin' trichs after all. :slide:

Gorgeous looking spears, man! :welldone:

Thanks, much to learn so please keep spoon feeding me this info :high-five::thanks:

Wow, nicely put Gray... thank you for the kind words as well.
It does seem you guys with the frostiest do seem to have that in common, feeding mostly growth in flower. Yep that early fade sucks, hard to bring the around after that it seems. I think each coming Drench I will increase the dose a bit, up to a point of course. Thank you for the valuable info, always appreciated!

:)

It's always nice to hear when someone has actually archived this stuff somewhere. Just think what you could learn from searching the posts on this forum and compiling all the info. Amazing.

:bongrip:

And then you put all this information into a neat organized document for lazy people like myself to use as a cheat sheet :high-five:.

Thanks buddy
I Dont consider it lazy at all. You are using the kit the way it was intended,
Easy/Simple, Point and Shoot :).

I cause my own problems in my attempts to dial all the variables in as close as I can, not needed
at all but that's just how my head is wired :)

I organize to remember, if i take the time to THINK about how the information is related and ingage
my brain to think and write it down It sticks much better :)
