Acapulco Gold, Hydro, By Gwhunran 2023

@gwhunran yes, automatic. When power goes out the generator automatically powers on, when power is restored generator auto shuts off. I performed maintenance myself, real easy. I have sold the property since and not sure if I had a 120 or 240 tank. We lost power fer 7 days on many occasions never, did we run out of fuel. Honestly I was never concerned bout running out of fuel prior to power being restored. Thinking when you research that info will be readily available regarding fuel consumption. Happy growing.

Thanks for that. If I get a generator, it will need to run the whole house. The wife wouldn't go for a small one to just run the grow.

Day 17 since flip.

The grow room is running normally.

The AC and de-humidifier are doing their jobs well.
The CO2 bucket is bubbling.
The plants are drinking heavily.
I am all but done arranging shoots through the 2nd screen. I've about got all the available area covered.

The plants are looking healthy. Just a little leaf tip burn.

Beautiful work just really looking 👀 awesome. CL🍀. :thumb:

generacs are great. if you get one determine which circuits are critical and just power those. you can calculate what you need off of those circuits to estimate the size of generator you need, and then add a safety factor.

the entire house might be overkill, but you can power the grow, home ac/heating, the refrigerator and freezer, maybe the computer and couple other outlets. that's really all you need.

I haven't gotten that far yet. I've got the kilowatt usage per month for the last year. Figured I would start from maximum usage, and find out how big a unit I would need for that, and go from there.

Acapulco Gold
Day 19 since flip.

The grow area is running normally.

The AC and de-humidifier are keeping the environment in a good place.

I wasn't planning on doing a reservoir change today but ended up doing one. The plan was to change the Fuel D.OG res. today and the AG on Friday. Well, I dropped the drainage water pump into the Acapulco Gold by mistake and it was half empty before I realized it.
Added the recommended amounts of GH three part liquid nutes for 17 gallons in Early Bloom. Added 60ml Cal-Mag+, and PHed to 5.5-6.0. Verified PH during afternoon check, within range but added 5ml PH down.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling, going on day 8.

The plants are drinking heavily.

I'll watch them for a couple of days before I add a small amount of Koolbloom.

I found the tray slow draining back into the reservoir this morning. As expected, roots had followed the water pump supply/drain line back into hose leading to the pump and mostly clogged the line. This situation is exactly what led to the making of a maintenance hole in the pvc reservoir cover directly above the tray fittings. It only took a few minutes to disconnect the lines and clean them out. During the afternoon check, I cleaned out the pump and pump filter of root particles. Good to go.

The plants are drinking heavily and despite generous top ups in the afternoon with high PH tap water, the PH is staying very stable.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling going on day 9. May have to change it tomorrow.

The plants are looking healthy. Let's see what these buds will do.

Day 21 since flip.

The grow area is running normally.

The plants are drinking heavily and giving off a lot of moisture. The de-humidifier is able to keep the RH in the desired range so far.

New CO2 bucket today.

Added 25ml Koolbloom. (0-10-10) to the reservoir. I wanted give the new reservoir a couple of days in Early Bloom, before adding more.

Day 23 since flip.

The grow area is running normally.

The ACs keeping the area with the desired temperature range. The de-humidifier is keeping the RH in range. It's tank filled for the 1st time this grow and shut off before my morning check. No harm done.

I remembered to measure the LUX at canopy height this afternoon. 55k LUX.

The CO2 bucket is bubbling away.

The plants look good. They are showing no negative effects from the added KoolBloom.

The grow room is running normally.

The plants are drinking heavily and the de-humidifier tank is just about filling up twice a day now.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling away.

The plants are looking healthy and growing well and still looking good.

The grow area is running normally.

Lot's of rain so ambient RH is high. The de-humidifier is keeping up. I wouldn't be surprised if I find the tank full during tomorrow's morning check.

The plants are drinking more than ever. They look healthy too.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling away.

Acapulco Gold
Day 26 since flip.

The grow room is running normally.

The plants are drinking heavily. I am adding so much tap water during the afternoon top up, that I have to add a small amount of PH down. The PH has been dropping at a rate in which the daily top ups were raising it just the right amount so that the PH stayed within range the whole time.

The plants look healthy. They may be a little behind the Fuel D.OG trich development.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling.

Acapulco Gold
Day 27 since flip.

The grow room is running normally.

The CO2 bucket wasn't bubbling enough to suit me on day 6. CO2 bucket replaced.

The plants are drinking heavily and the afternoon top ups with high PH tap water are requiring small amounts of PH down to keep the PH in the desired range. The PH is dropping between res. top ups, but staying within the desired range.

The plants are looking healthy and the buds are developing nicely. I think I'll get a pretty good covering of buds.
