A Video Journal With Pigeons420 - 2016

For the small Red Poison, I would probably transplant it in a smaller pot and use that big one for something else. It happened to me with a northern light * big bud. it is interesting but can be a waste of time and space.

I'm always learning from you. First off, thanks for the bud porn. I find it endearing the pride you take in the trim and the way you apologize when they're more rustic than normal. :laughtwo:

I've not yet taken the time and made the effort to do the burping and cure properly. I keep consuming it faster than I grow it. Lol! I believe my very first grow I did take the time, but even then I wasn't as meticulous as you are. I'll be more attentive to this step in the future. Thank you for keeping after us about it.

It's so much fun catching a hoot with you while learning. RoorRip

I'm thankful that you still learn from me! That we learn from each other! We've taken two very different paths but enjoy so much of the same rewards!

It sure can be a waste of space haha but I have an abundance of 5 gallon pots. I don't mind if she sits in one. Beside it gets her closer to the light in a bigger pot.

Cheers my man!

Great curing video Pigeons. Have you ever had your weed lose its smell entirely? If so, do you think it's genetics or the drying/curing stage that causes the bud to lose its smell.
Cheers bud

I can't say I've had my herb lose ALL it's smell but I do find that the more dry it is the less smell it emits. But I would say it has less to do with genetics and more to do with environment and other variables.

:bong:
Band name = Burp The Weed

I've been burping jars of weed all week myself.

Have a good evening, Pigeons!

:peace:

What a feeling it is! One of my favorite steps! It's the only time I touch my herb and get to "play" with it. I get to be a little boy in a candy store for a couple minutes!

:dreamy:

Nice video Pigeons. I appreciate the way you don't edit out the language challenges. Lol! Don't ever change. :kisstwo:

Since we're talking about quality buds:

On the left, Med GOM 1.0, on the right CBD Critical Cure.

I keep a lot more leaf matter attached to mine because I know that from a medicinal standpoint, the more diversified your cannabinoid expression the better for your endocannabinoid system. You can't see the trichomes that are only one cell high with the naked eye, but every inch of the plant is covered with trichomes. I'm stingy about mine. I want them all. :battingeyelashes:

You are probably right in doing so because, eventhough I have access to the best of the best quality hash i've ever seen in 30 years + , the effect of smoking my weed is always more dynamic, lively, tastier etc. It less pure than hash, but richer in effects and variety. My 2 cents!

Hi Sue, that's since I can macro-pictures and see what things are in reality. <snipped>

I agree fully that washing doesn't remove the hair very well, it'll remove something that has just landed on it, but if it got stuck in early flower, it's within the bud by harvest day. We've got a few heavy hair producers around here and have really just given up on hair-free buds.

That said, we still do wash every harvest. We find it definitely helps with appearance and improves the dry, in my opinion. YMMV.

Glad and proud to have been in on the ground floor. Huge props my friend.

Love you guys so much!

Choosing the right nutrient line!

Good points Pigeons. I went into my hempy grow completely green and unread. What a dangerous thing to do, eh? I completely mismanaged nutes with my hempy girl, and instead of killing her I ended up with this.

The darkest buds I've ever seen. I wasn't aware they could get this dark. Unfortunately, I have no idea how this happened. Learn from my mistake and keep better records of the nutrient adjustments than I did.

it is a strain thing first, but may be also an amplitude of temperature between day and night superior to 10°C (50°F) ?

Wake n' Bake

Great rant. It needed to be said. It's sad that medical professionals use their power like that. You have to consider that the govt. is likely extracting a good part of that fee to the doctor for their own fees. It seems cannabis is the new cash crop for governments too. This is the unfortunate side of something we thought would accelerate the process. I think we should be starting cannabis co-ops all over the continent. Teach everyone to grow and then share it like mad. :laughtwo:

I was smoking some of my hempy Dark Devil Auto.

Nice political wake and bake rant, my friend. You can blame a lot of your country's problems with cannabis on my country. We lead the world in marijuana misinformation. So, until the good Ole USA stands up and does what's right, we will remain in the dark. Fyi, I didn't renew my medical prescription for the exact same reasons you listed. I'm going gorilla again.

Cheers buddy
