A Video Journal With Pigeons420 - 2016

Thanks ColoradoGriz for the report, very appreciated !

Colorado is so dry that I appreciate those extra days.

I think I will try it and compare. It is super dry here too, it generally takes 5 to 7 days to completely "snap-dry" which i know is too dry. I even had to humidify them with vapor once, so may be a few days more would not be luxury. I have the gear to take the pics, may be I could take a few.

The milder/softer taste is something i am looking for. usually i shake and filter the weed to achieve that, but washing could be more economic. That's what i've noticed before when i tried one that was said to be washed.

As I don't use tap water at all (those plant barely know what it is) , it's gonna be costly :-)

I think that may have been your best wake 'n bake yet Pigeons. :hugs:  :hugs:

Why do I think this you ask? I felt, the entire time, like I was sitting in your room with you, having an actual wake 'n bake between friends on a lazy Saturday morning, not some contrived and scripted piece filmed with professional equipment so it could slickly appeal to the masses.

I have no one here to share cannabis with. These little moments count more than you know.

This is what you do so well - you allow us to actually be your friend. This is a gift, and you use it well. If you're this much a natural at it in the early stages think of how much fun it'll be when you get real relaxed at it. This was a four hit session for me, and they were decent hits too. Lol! Great fun. Thanks for that and once again, +reps for the increase in subscribers.

I am ready for the next joyful thing to come my way today. :slide:

Hey Pigeon420. Coming back about bud washing.

Here are some pics i took today. it is the used water from 2 tanks (2*18L in total) , poured into a bubble bag of 0.25 microns.
I didn't use peroxyde and used a small dose of lemon+baking soda (i think, like 15cl of each per tank).
More pics/details and explanations on my "main grow #4 - page 15" , but basically, there are a lot of the fibers i am after, and not enough trichomes to do anything with them.
I hope it helps and that it is ok to post those pics here. i think i'm gonna make a thread for them, for everyone's reference (edit, it is done, see in signature).

Spacef, I have to apologize that I never got back to you after your original comment.

I'm really glad you did this final test! This is the concrete evidence I needed to reassure me with what I was pretty certain was already true. And that's this:

There was NO doubt in my mind that there would be a "loss" of trichomes during the budwashing process. But the reason I use "quotations" is because although there washed off, it's clear to me that those are degraded probably even dead thricomes. Correct me if I'm wrong but the majority of those trichomes are very amber. I wouldn't consider them much of a loss when put beside all that other "shit" beside them.

I can personally say that I've smoked cleaned herb. And I can personally say I've got high every time! And I can personally say that the high came from cannabis and not cotton balls, bugs or anything else. For that I'm very happy!!

I can't hand you enough reps for this experiment...In fact, it's inspired me to do my own experiment at some point and do a detailed video to cover it.

:high-five::passitleft:

Spacef, that was a wonderful addition to the database. :high-five: Definately +Reps for that experiment. I agree with Pigeons, the trichomes look to be all, or mostly amber, and not in enough numbers as to be of any consequence.

Well done. :battingeyelashes:

I'm always learning from you. First off, thanks for the bud porn. I find it endearing the pride you take in the trim and the way you apologize when they're more rustic than normal. :laughtwo:

I've not yet taken the time and made the effort to do the burping and cure properly. I keep consuming it faster than I grow it. Lol! I believe my very first grow I did take the time, but even then I wasn't as meticulous as you are. I'll be more attentive to this step in the future. Thank you for keeping after us about it.

It's so much fun catching a hoot with you while learning. RoorRip
