Your government is so much more progressive. In the US the legalization wave is actually becoming problematic for home growers. Congratulations on living on the right side of that border line. We'll keep up the fight here.

I couldn't agree with you more about the need to get the governments out of our homes and gardens. Your Canadian baby steps are more grown up than ours.

Man, I'm moving to freaking Canada. You guys are getting your freedom while here in the USA, the DEA decided to leave the scheduling of cannabis at 1 based on a recommendation from the FDA stating that there is no medicinal use for Cannabis in the United States. The key wording in that sentence is in the United States. There is no evidence because we aren't allowed to study cannabis here. I wonder if big pharma had a hand in this? I fucking HATE my country sometimes.

I paced up and down my hallway for over an hour after reading that yesterday, frantic with disbelief, trying everything I could think of to turn the empathetic button down so I could stay calm enough to think outside the box. Written into that was the commitment to allow more cannabis to be grown in more locations so that invaluable research can begin to be done, but damn guys, how many of us have to be brought back from the brink of death or relieved of decades of suffering before you begin to give credence to the evidence right before you?

Protecting the status quo while big pharma secures the ways and means to control cultivation, processing and distribution. And the police and jails, yeah, we gotta keep the funds flowing baby, so don't rock that boat.

I'm with you Noob, but Canada's pretty selective about who they take in. :laughtwo:

They are now going to allow more universities to study cannabis as there is only one now allowed. DEA has said they won't go after companies producing cannabis as long as they follow state and local laws.

And with first daughter caught smoking a joint maybe...just maybe this might start some more dialogue about this great medicine

If by rest your system you're referring to getting ready for new stuff. It's different for everyone. Some like to detox for a couple day, while others dive right into new stuff.

I personally can't go much more than a couple hours without a hoot so I would just have to dive right in!

The last time I reset my system was 5 years ago. I quit for almost 2 years. Now I'm every day, all day. I try to switch up strains too. I won't smoke the same strain every time. I mix it up. I usually do a reset when I'm consuming too much cannabis in my eyes, usually 2 Os a month is my shut off. I'm still not there. Although, I have a suspicion that I will be upping my dosage due to the abundance of herb in my jars right now.
 
Those must be pretty small plants if you need 30 to provide 6g a day ;-)
Does this mean you are going to cut way down to 30 to be legal, or continue to be illegal?

I wish I could get a medical card easily, but I have no prescriptions or paper trail.
