A Video Journal With Pigeons420 - 2016

Or, it takes a few monster yielding plants to keep up with demand. :laughtwo: Have you seen those bluniverse plants Shiggity's growing. Think of the wax from one of them. I was just over there admiring again.

I find more and more I reach for the concentrates. I better step up my gardening skills. :laughtwo:

Watching you on the videos helped me think of it in better terms.

You're up pretty late tonight Pigeons. I'm not used to running into you at this time of the night. :laughtwo:

P420-

Is there any chance that the jar with the moldy nug was left in a beam of sunlight at some point? Say, on a table, closed, and a ray crept over the table and warmed it up?

I ask because I've had a similar occurrence. Small jar, 7g boveda pack. Jar was in the sun a couple minutes, warmed and sweat the inside. Bud was 8 month cure, no issues. Moldy the next week.

Nice vids brother.

The monster plants is still where I need to work on my skills. I've tried quite a few times to create monsters but have unfortunately sent them to flower too early. DOH!! I average about 4 ounces a plant. Now, I know that's something to be proud of, there's room for improvement.
Also, I find it much easier to grow several of those "small" ones rather than one or two "big" ones. I have a lot of room to fill up and I enjoy having a little bit of everything going on. My veg rooms don't support one "big" plant either. Something that needs to change.

You'll really enjoy having concentrates as an option in your supply. It's a real game changer.

I was lying in bed and dosing off as I was making those comments. You know me, not much of a night hawk, like yourself :dreamy:

Burping buds is a lot more clean than burping babies.. buds don't spit on you  That is why my new babies are green and not 2 legged anymore :)
Thanks for video and info. reps as usual :)

Angry I can't tell you how much I can appreciate that statement. as the father of a very intelligent, respectful and independent 5 year old I can tell you I'm certainly glad I'm going forwards and not backwards.
My wife and I get asked ALL the time whether we are having more children. And let me say, only the slightly insane people "ask" the real crazies "TELL" us we should have more children. And they don't say it nicely as all! This is something that really gets to us. Like, why on earth, would some other human being, try and tell another human being to have more kids!! Their not going to raise these kids, pay for them, be responsible for them..... Just baffles me.

What a rant there.. Sorry about that Angry! Top of the morning too ya!!

:high-five:

As a matter of fact, and this is probably no surprise to you, I take this step [curing] very seriously as I know you do to.

I store my herb in dark cabinet behind a curtain at a humidity of 40% outside and %62+- (5) inside the jar. I'm fairly certain that the environment outside the jars is not the factor here.
I'm still convinced that the reason it molded was a factor of the 1) size of the Boveda pack, 2) size of container and 3) the small amount of herb in the container.

This is a valuable lesson for me and I'm glad that it has reminded us all to take a quick check on our stashes and ensure it doesn't happen again. My 2-3 gram bud lose could have saved a 3-4 ounce jar of someone's weed. To that I'm thankful.

Good to see you Heirloom!

I know that one.. I have 4.. 1 boy and 3 girls.. and they ALL go "ooo you need to make another SON!!!"
yeah I go.. it's like ordering pizza.. " could I have a tall blonde son please.. delivered to my home... oo you are out of that sort....... ok make him dark haired.."

On the mold topic, mold can form with humidity over 60% and of course the Boveda packs are 62% so regardless you should exchange air regularly (don't ask me how often "regularly" is). Even if the humidity drops when you burp it, this will have no effect on the bud because the Boveda pack will bring the humidity back up. I guess this is why lots of people vacuum seal their bud after their done curing.

Also have to remember to burp often if the RH is 70 or so even with a Boveda, they take the humidity down VERY slowly and you cannot rely on that to bring your bud down to 62%. Works great keeping it there though, no doubt!

That's just another stoner's take

Very good information Jay!

But it was be stated that Boveda does advertise that burping is not required when their product is in control.

I think if their product is used correctly there shouldn't be a problem.

:high-five:

Yay I got a shout out. :slide:

As for your defoil question, if a fan leaf is blocking light to a lower growth point and the growth at the stem of said fan leaf is large enough to continue its growth further, then I would remove it. Does that make sense?
She is looking really well and should do you proud. :passitleft:

What horrible spelling and editing skills I have. That should read "It has to be stated" not whatever mumbo jumbo I wrote there

Welcome to my world Baby. :laughtwo: You're allowed to be human too. You ever notice how often I edit? Lol!
