A thread for the users of Mars-Hydro lamps

It looks like a very nice light for the size... again I would imagine it should outperform the 300 since it's only 35 watts less. At the very least the yields will be similar from both of them.

I'd definitely buy it over the mars 300 obviously they are the same price point this minds well the upgraded version...

I'm just curious because I'm so clueless on which route to go. with HID, I have to worry about RFI & heat.. I'd like an LED that features HID penetration without the extraordinary price-tag.. Currently in talks with a few sponsors on the form. Would be really cool to get something worked out.

I like the design of the ECO models - would it be safe to assume the Eco 49 has higher output than the white Mars 300?

:thanks: Eco49 draw power is 100W, mars300 draw power is about 130W, so ECO 49 has lower output. But this series use better fans and has deeper light penetration.

No it has less power to the wall HOWEVER it should outperform the 300 since it's more up to date and it also has no glass weakening the light.

The first stock of ECO series with very competitive special preference price, not make sue if the price will be higher for next stock.

ECO series is designed for led entry user with competitive special price and deeper penetration

How does the Eco 48 perform compared to a Mars Pro II Epistar 80?

How does the Eco 48 perform compared to a Mars Pro II Epistar 80?

ECO48 is not as powerful as proII80, but due t its competitive price of ECO48 and its purpose of design, ECO48 is a good choice for entry users;proII is a good choice for experienced growers.

It may also be a good choice for professional growers @SmokeSara. I'm thinking for example to keep mothers alive or for a vegg tent perhaps?

Using ECO series in Veg tent is a good choice, it does not need high draw power in veg tent. I t is a pity we have n growing journal and videos about this new series, hope we will get more feedback about this series.

How about you give it to some dependable growers to show what it can do. Since you can't grow in your country.

That's a great idea. Give away a few to beginners and a few to not so beginners, then people can see with their own eyes what you can do with them.

I will recommend it to our manager if we can give Mars ECO series to test:thanks: At this stage, our main job is to prepare Mars CUP 4.

Due to competitive price of mars eco series, the quality can not compare with mars proII, we don't recommend it to growers who wants to harvest max, so I can recommend it to our manager if we can give away it to entry users to test after Mars CUP4 ends.:cheertwo:

Here's what I harvested this weekend. Better than I expected, this strain (or this pheno) don't grow very big!

67 days in bloom under the Mars Pro II 80.
