A Taste Of Chocolate And Blueberries With Vipar Spectra XS 1500 Pro

This makes sense. Mine stopped fizzing after about half a day, and fizzed up some more when I added cuttle fish bone. I'll seal it up now.
If it fizzles up when adding more calcium it means the solution hasn't reached saturation yet. And, unless you have some way to test the batch it's probably best to saturate it for more consistent application rates batch to batch.

HI Bode,
Thank you. I need to use potions that are shelf stable. I don't have the space or setup for bubbling fresh teas. If there is a way to make a shelf stable version of the microbe solution then I'd definitely like to try it.
If you use the Mini-Me JMS version in my signature, you can make it in any amount you want. I often make it in batches of 1L or sometimes even half that.

Something that size can sit on your counter for the few days it takes to make. You'll cover it so no smells.

Hi! Great grow, I feel like I missed most, but would like to tag along and see how things finish!

Cheers!
Hiya 425 :) Thank you and welcome. I'm glad to meet another enthusiast!

I was trying to find a solution(literally) :Rasta: to my calcium uptake issue in SIP pots. It was a tool to have in the box to maybe spray or drench on occasion. I still have it in the jar, never deployed.
Do you think it wouldn't work in the correct dilution in the res?
I decided on 4ml calmag a day for my ten gallon SIP's in the rez to balance.
They look lovely today!
And that works a charm!

Thank you. I will add more cuttlefish bone and watch what happens.

I will bear this in mind for coming grows. Good to know about this, thank you.

I could test it by looking at ppm's / ml in a gal of ro water. At 40 to 60 ppm it would be fine, then I'd know how much to add to each gallon. That would take care of calcium. Magnesium may need a look then with my soil. Maybe not.

I like the idea that the nutrients the plants need can be extracted and given in water soluble doses from shelf stable potions! I'd love to know the results of such a test.

The pistils on the Chocodope are turning caramel colored quicker than the Blueberry's.

Blueberry is on day 2 of drought. I'm not sure there is enough time. I haven't managed to time a drought correctly yet!

Thanks for looking in and may you have a peaceful, pleasant weekend.

I've given this some thought and realized that this is not a drought. I just haven't watered the plant in four days as it has stopped drinking. I am fooling myself thinking I can drought at this late stage. What about the Chocodope though?

i'm still kinda new on grow #4 but i like to start drought when the plant first starts to drink less & go afew days & then watch the leaf wilt angle or if its looking real bad then a rescue water & see what the trichs look like before and after

I'd say let it ride a little bit and watch the trichomes!! The only drought I've ever put my plants through were a couple summers ago outside in the boonies!! Only was able to check those girls every 7-10 days sometimes. Turned out really good though. Deer love the plants!! Happy Saturday!! 😎✌️

Highya Carmen,

Gorgeous looking autos!! Very nice job with them! Your photographic skills have improved immensely. But I can't help with droughting, as I grow in outdoor soil. What a pleasure seeing those pics! Daffy says hi! Happy Smokin'

Thanks Con. Looking at trichomes now :)

Happy Saturday Scottay :) I thought I'd get a trichome baseline today and take it from there.

Thank you Bode! Hi Daffy :) Let's see some trichome shots!

Beautiful pictures! What kind of camera are you using?

Thank you Danny T :) I use a Nikon D7100 camera and these pics are shot using a Tamron 90 mm f2.8 Macro lens. It's a great camera and I love the quality of the lens too.
Two beautiful specimens and terrific trichs, and I am 100% no longer sure the Choco will outweigh the BB! :)
Thanks Shed. Ja! Amazing hey. They've bulked up substantially haven't they :)
Stunning. I want to roll around in a field of those buds.
Thanks Matt! They are rather perfumy :)
