A Stoorish Hobbit & His Lair

Thanks for all popping in and keeping alles cheery and chipper much appreciated guys.... :green_heart:
So been feeling pain free the last cpl days and I found what really worked well was a flaccid hot water bottle under my back has kept the cramping down and muscles relaxed so not too shabby at all.

So been really craving a good solid burger the last two days so I ventured out of bed, had a shower and popped off town and back but noticed even that little bit of activity an my back started getting tight so not going to be pushing my luck like I tend to do. I'm actually having a good hard think bout slowing down on the gardening side over winter ( still growing obv ) but not such volume like I tend do and give my back a break from the physical side of growing....

pics and pics..........

On the left is Hettie ( back ) en' Kaknie who I put a chasity belt on due to naughty displays of shameful behavior the little hussy......
And Gaspode is on the right also under restrains but that's another story I guess......haha

image.jpeg

I'm going to top both the girls and let them bust out and upwards some more and clone the tops in two sections to grow and a mom plant of each.

Hettie in the back has just naturally displayed a more squat bushy style as she's been growing whereas Kaknie has just been the slower going of the two and just needs that cage round her to help her look like her sister, I haven't really spotted any difference between them ( both Hulkberry/ RQS ) so it might come down to smell and tastes....

Gaspode.....

So Gaspode had all her branches topped so I got a forked plant all over but her bottom most two branches just aren't going to make it to the net so I'm going to clone them and have two ready to go mainline girls ready to go you could say.....

All three girls are #96 days old today so happy midlife to them.

My failed attempts at new strains I guess....... :thedoubletake: :jawdropper:

So I'm left with 2x BBHP X GG4 and the lemon grass auto, been following the LIFTA method and it's working thanking you mr.Nooby....
Cherry kiss gave up the ghost yesterday....

LIFTA? Looking good smeegs. Remember to leave a gap somewhere to get to the trunk in the lowers in the caged one. I use it often enough in different forms and I used to get greedy and want all the screen filled but have learnt I need to sacrifice enough to get to the roots .

Glad to hear the bottie helps with the back pain.

Hey smeegs, glad to hear you feeling a bit better man. I don't think you the only one craving a lekker burger.

I'm with Lerugged here, Lifta?

Plants are looking good man. Hope you and the loved ones are safe during this lockdown

I didn't think of that thank you mr.Rugged I'll make a plan in the next day or two before she goes farther....
How you and the family doing, staying safe and keeping your heads down I hope brother....

So I'm thinking 200g pattie ( helps if your butcher gets his edibles from you... ) some dik onion rings, cheese and bacon and baked potato with mushroom sauce mr.Rhys as sadly I can't get my hands on mcDonalds bbq sauce otherwise I'd be smashing that burger with jalapeños and hot sauce too....:cheesygrinsmiley:

@Lerugged @Rhys777

LIFTA otherwise known as " leave it the fook alone "......hahaha

Following this wholeheartedly from now on gents.....

Alaskan Purple came down on Saturday, my cousin took her down for me......:headbanger:

Smells like musk, nag champa incense and clings to back of the throat and nose, my cousin snipped a tester bud four weeks ago and it wowed both of us 2 weeks ago when we smoked it, her trichs were 80% cloudy 20% amber so I expect a heavy body stone but perfect for my back....

Glad to hear your backs a bit better, Mrs P swears by hot water bottles for all types of pain, including head aches!!

Plants are looking good. I was about to join the LIFTA?? club??

Luckily I refreshed the page and have now seen the answer. Sounds like a good method to me.

:Namaste:

I've actually tried hot towels on my forehead for migraines but didn't like the heat as made me feel claustrophobic on top of the sore head mr.Pina, hope you and the missus are staying high and safe if she partakes....haha

Hahaha you've made it even worse for me now  :p

I'm going to have to settle with mince mate tonight though but tomorrow I'm going on a burger mission!

LIFTA sounds like something I'm going to have to do with my new grow I got going. First time doing coco and the roots seem to grow faster than anything I've ever seen. Potted up from like a litre pot to a 3 litre about 3 days ago and they already showing face out the bottom.

That Alaskan purple looks amazing man, I've personally never seen buds that big haha good going smeegs. Other plants are looking fresh and happy mate even with you being out of action

Good going ol smeegs

Not quite there....

C99 X Blueberry 7/19/19 reveg..

image.jpeg
image.jpeg
image.jpeg

She took the longest to reveg out of last years winter grow and eventually she started growing normally so I got her training under way but snapped two main branches off accidentally ( bucket facing side looks bit empty/ ruler straight look on that side ) so I put her to one side and let her do thing as she wasn't pretty anymore but now she looks ok hey..... took 2 clones off her weekend past with the late Alaskan clones.

A burst of teenage youth........ :headbanger:

image.jpeg

That's the home of Hettie,Kaknie and Gaspode and the newest addition to the family in the green grocery bag ( pick n pay....haha ) a clone of c99xBlueberry which I'm doing the Kratky method I thinks it's called @Piña Delores this is that funny method I was trying to explain to you.....

So it's just coco in the green bag and the tub wrapped in thoat car dashboard thingy to keep the light out which is 20lt I believe or maby 15lt tub... There's a small pot in the middle of the bag and it's sunk into the lid of the tub so the roots can hit the water and the whole plant survives off the oxygen of the plants roots.... No pump or airstones needed, some of you guys might remember the black cream auto I did last year.......

If needs be I'll lift bag and pot and place on top of a larger resivoir as the clone grows and fills out I'll also be placing plastic pipes in the four corners of the bag as I'm almost positive I'll be putting a net/hula hoop on top of her......

image.jpeg

So once I plucked off Kaknie' fan leafs she really picked up a growth spurt as she was lagging far behind Hetie in height and branch development length... I had the white plast Tallis net around but I removed it for the moment till I've inserted 2 rods to attach the net to, but I first need to top her and Hettie......

image.jpeg

So I pulled Hettie out the tent to show you as I couldn't get a decent pic with her inside. I've been wanting to top them for a cpl weeks now but after having a good look at Hettie I can get 2 clones from one topping and the bonus being the lower part is an automatic quadline which is rather neat as the branch lengths are all rather equal right now and then I'll let them veg longer till the girls outside are done which is in the next 4-6 weeks.......

Gaspode.....

So this is my accidental cross of c99xBB X LuckyStar who was the male pollen donor. Nice indica traits more from the father in this cross, most noticeable from the c99 was the mulled wine and orange scent she gave while curing and the ripe banana from the LuckyStar.... all of the above girls popped above coco on the 1/20/20 or 20/1/20 for the saffas.....haha

image.jpeg
image.jpeg
image.jpeg

The aliminium restraints you see are to pull the lower two branches out some more opening them up to more light as they were getting smothered by the upper branches and fan leafs which I've been plucking to open up potential sites for flowers to come..

I've upped their veg feed to 2.5ml phase1 and 5ml phase2 veg per 5lt of water, I don't no if I've mentioned with #swampjuice one of the nice things about it is you don't have to ph your water as it self ph/balances the ph of your water......

The other house.......

image.jpeg
image.jpeg

This is the mothers club you could say, on the right is gold cheese back and inzane1 upfront, on the left is inzane2 in the back and upfront is c99xBB x LuckyStar and the middle row upfront is c99xblueberry original and the the survivors club of seedlings who are a month old but you wouldn't say it....

I found my next natural ish quadline from my Inzane2 pheno who has 5 branches one which I'll clone for a new mom instead I'd like to do a nice big quadline with her.....

image.jpeg

I'll be taking her lowest branch for a new mom, I'll be squeezing hermits below the new growth on each developing branch until they are equal in length before the real training will start...:cheesygrinsmiley:

And lastly the 2nd clone from my c99xblueberry that revegged from last year and is now in her 3rd week of flowering....

Left the Alaskan purple x3 and c99xblueberry on the right.

c99xblueberry x1 as the other pic won't load....

Hope everyone's keeping their heads low and staying safe folks.....

I ended up tossing the Alaskan clones as the flowers although nice and large sadly the flowers lost their density and turned out wispy and airy while hanging...

This is my blue Kush by dinafem which I'm really happy with growth wise compared to the clone that grew in the tunnel. She's been awkward to take pics of as I just can't seem to find a decent angle to get her whole girth in the frame to show you.... I reckon she's got near the 5-6 week mark left to ho.
