A Pictorial Journal For 2021

These are a few from earlier today of the Chemdog's. I also laid out the 2 smaller Sativa's to train them a bit. They were looking a bit ruff but will get over it !! I will let them stay tied for two weeks and they will spread out nicely.

I wished I had more time to play with them, but a silver lining is you find how easily they react to you. And it doesn't take much to coheres or manipulate them. But they do remind you that you are the one growing. And they know what to do all by themselves.

Thanks for stopping by

did i see your hot water system s part of the room for temps obviously, if so i love the idea bro
great job
That is actually electric and doesn't have the gas burner underneath throwing off excess heat. The LED'S maintain the room at 78 to 85 degrees, and I have lights off from 10 AM till 8 PM. So the hottest part of the day they are down.

It is a small utility room meant for a washer / dryer and the heater. I use the laundry rooms at this complex to save cash. What is cool is right behind the heater is a small trap door. To give access to the water shut off for the apartment. There is a 2.5 foot crawl space underneath the apartments for the utilities. This allows for a supply of much cooler air to stream into that room.

By opening this door at night 1/2 way and pulling down the drop ceiling staircase to the attic. It make for a chimney effect. Or else the heat would get to 88 to 98 degrees. Very cool observation and I can do this from November till May. Before the heat factor shuts me down.

It also allows for the " skunk" to go out of the roof vents, helping to keep the neighbors from wondering !!

My main focus for these were to give them more water and ONLY enough nuit's. There are only one or two leaf tips with a minuscule hint of burning. I am very happy with what they will show on THEIR OWN. Without pumping them full of nuit's, just extra light and a lot of moving air. 60 or so more days will see !!

Thanks !! Hope All is Green in your World !!

Quick Update 8:00 PM lights On. and 86.5 degrees, 8:22 it is down to 84.9 degrees. By 10 PM it will stay between 81 and 82 with humidity at no more then 46 to 48 percent.

This will stay like that till lights off for the Chemdog's at 10 AM. I pull them and stick in a small closet sealed up dark.

Then the 2 Sativa's get half the LED's till 4 o'clock and sleep till 8 PM.

They are drinking and blowing out 3 liters of water everyday. I have been giving them 1 gallon plus everyday for the last 10 days. 2 quart / liter bottles at lights on and 2 to 3 before lights off.

The pot never stays heavy or damp to the touch on the bottom.

These are the Sativa that I started to shape this AM. Loving life and the next ones to play with

Peace .....

Happy Thursday Folks and a few pic's to throw out, I would of had more but the battery took a shit halfway thru. So will post the Sativa's progress later on after a recharge.

The flowers a well on their way and stems are swelling up. No longer stretching up as fast as they were. Basically head on into flower now and will give them a week more at 14 /10.

Then have them 12/12 till the finish line. Also started to into these extra " flower power nuit's . They are a powdered / ground and not in a liquid state. They are ( N_P_K) = ( 1_34_32 ) and made just for flower phase of plants.

They introduce a LARGER portion of the phosphorus and potassium to them. I am watering them at least a gallon of water everyday and being they are not a liquid base. Staying in the medium longer continually feeding them.

The plant is filling out nicely I pinch off a bunch of the inner leaves every other day that receive little or no light. To open them up and increase air flow. But over night / lights off they fill in like I never pinched them off at all.

So they still have a bit of veg state in them, but the switch to 12 / 12 should remove that.
BUD TIME !!

Just a quick update with a few pics of the Sativa's and the Chemdog out of the purple and just before lights out for her.

The Sativa's are tied down on to 14 inch bamboo skewers and have been like that for a week plus. I will give them 7 more days and cut them loose but the bend will be permanent in the stem.

It is MY LAZY way of training them and now instead of being 20 inches tall and congested. This has all the lower mains getting their own space from the get-go. It also has the main cola staying as tall as the other branches. So they all are getting the same and most powerful part of the LED source.

You get a shrub and being a Sativa they will most likely be about 5 to 6 feet when done. You will see as they grow They will create a V shape. Just my way of controlling them for the space I have to work with and it has its own benefits you will see later on.

You might see a few burnt tips I was not paying attention as grabbed the Chemdog's nuit jug by mistake. So instead of getting a big glass of wine they got a big glass of Ever Clear as far as strength goes !! Glad I caught it and watered them immediately to dilute the medium.

Did find one white little pistil at one of the nodes so they are Females the Sativa's are the first pics and have to break it up. With the Chemdog's next. Very Happy seeing flowers and the Sativa's progress as well !!
Happy Time in the Grow. Keep them GREEN !!

Peace...

Happy Monday and I haven't dropped a video in a bit so here goes one. They are having fun and this gives a great example of where they are both at.

Will be back in 5 or so days and will see how they are doing. The Chemdog's loving the nuit mix and the Sativa is really starting to drink up. So will slowly dump up their mix but they will be feed much slower the the Chemdog's amounts.

Sativa's as well as taking their sweet ass time to grow compared to Indica's. They also don't like as much nuit's either. They up take about 1/2 as much as Indica's so you have to finagle their feeds a bit more closely of less frequently.

KEEP'EM GREEN !!

Peace

Howdy all 420 Peoples just getting a few things done and the plants are doing a great job. The 2 Sativa's went to 18 / 6 light schedule from the 20 / 4 one they have been on since day one. I could have switched it soon, 2 weeks ago if they where Indica's. But Sativa's take their sweet time doing anything and are basically 6 to 8 weeks behind Indica's. That doesn't include harvest.

I have put the 2 Indica on 12 / 12 as they are full into the Flower and have finished doing that final stretch or the stems. The base of the the stem looks like a knotted up tree stump with toad skin. And it ready to take on the weight from up top.

They are filling in slowly but surely and just watching nuit's so they get just enough with out burning their tips.

The Sativa's are in veg mode and adding height everyday, I want to run them close to the lights 16 to 18 inches being they will stretch anyway. But sharing the room with the Big girl for 12 hours it is out of my control.

I was just taking the Indica out into a hall closet modified for lights out. But it is just to much of a pain in the ass now they are full on bloom, and heavy after a good drink.

So I figured out a way to run an extension cord with a timer and a 4 way plug into the closet. I have two extra hangers hooked to the pole to hang your stuff from. So now at 10 minutes before lights off. I just pop the power cords and transfer the 2 of the LED'S to the hangers in the closet plug in the cords and move the smaller Sativa pot into it. I move the tower fan in and hit the switch.

I have them moved in and watered before the lights go off in the main room.
I have the Sativa's coming back on at 8 PM and the Indica's at 10:00 PM. I leave for work by 11:00 at night and so switching them back is a charm and takes less then 10 minutes.

Love when a plan comes together !! Here is a video and a few pics from the 25th.
Check'em out >>>> it is a 2 trip pic dump !!

Howdy ALL , it has been a little bit since the last post. They are still at it and the Sativa's are rolling along, getting big and showing signs of starting pre-flower in next 10 to 14 days. I started to add flower / bloom to their feed instead of just veg formula.

The Indica / Chemdog's are filling in nicely with most of the buds about 2 inches thick. They are at day 103 going from Feb1st to today May 14th. So my guest is 2 more weeks till trich's start to show amber. Video shows growth and zoomed photos.

I did find something interesting and added to the Chemdog's feed. It only contains Phosphate no Nitrogen or Potassium 0-45-0. it is a soil supplement to dissolve over time but I took one Tablespoon of the granules. I added Cleaning Vinegar that is stronger then regular white table vinegar. Table is diluted to about 5% strength on average and the Cleaning version. It at 10% strength double of what the table stuff is.

I added one Tablespoon of vinegar to the granules in a small glass and crushed them together with a dead Bic lighter. Grinding them as fine as I could get and left to sit over night. This morning I took 1/2 gallon of PH'ed water and added the ground up vinegar / granules to it shook the hell out of it. After a half hour all the heavy crumbs settled to the bottom.

I slowly poured off the water to leave the crumbs behind. Fox Farms has a product called Grow Big that has almost NO N-P-K and is mainly conditioners :: bat guano / worm castings / kelp / iron and micro elements. So 2 Tablespoons of that and the vinegar based Phosphate granules. Got me 3/4 gallon of feed that I PH'ed to 5.9 and was showing 1650 PPM.

That is the strength of what I have been feeding them the last 2 weeks. So I just said lets see and gave them the hole 3/4 gallon. I am hoping to see it bust them open the last 2 weeks of there time here. I will give just water for the next 3 days, I have to give them at least 1 gallon of water everyday or they get very droopy. So I hope to see them swell up and wished I found this one month ago.

But if it works I have the Sativa's getting ready in 4 to 6 more weeks. And I can slowly add it to their fed to see what happens. It promotes sugar production and is what the last month of flower is focusing on. As the buds " ripen " like fruit on other plants. Will See !!

Thanks for stopping by and more to come !!

Peace ...

Howdy All 420 peoples and day 115 for Chemdog's and a few pic's Plus will add later the Sativa's.

They are not little anymore and just showing signs of pre-flower. Plus they should have one good stretch left in them. So with the chop chop coming for the Chemdog's in about 7 to 10 ( ?? ) days. The trich's are just now turning milky ......

I will be able to adjust the LED'S just for them and get all the good source light. To be focus on them and not half assed sharing light. Two round ass plants sharing a small rectangular grow space you get dark spots.

Anyhow these are some focused pic's and will have more later, they are sleeping right now.

Thanks for stopping and the round up is just around the corner for 2 of these girls !!

Peace ...
