OK

I am bumming out a little, my babies are more than ready for transplant. I wanted these right into 5 gallon pots. I put off the transplant because I don't have the room for the pots in the temp room. So tonight they will get re-potted in 1qt pots... pics soon

:thanks:

Hey folks

A couple of shots

I transplanted the babies into 1qt pots :( I wanted to go 5 gallon but space is an issue. The durple dream middle back has leaf issues from my over zealous use of fungicide but aside from that they are doing OK and are recovering from the transplant

I took some blueberry clones and put them in both water and soil when I did the air clone... they are about 3' away from the light to the side and are doing great.

OK folks let's talk "close"

First I only have 3 watt LED panels. I have heard from Jon that with 5 watt LED panels he is capable of frying his plants and that they focus and blend further away so he gets better bud at a greater distance. I do not find this with 3 watt panels. I am limited in height right now. I have a big plant that has been forced to approximately 7" (I tried to find my metal ruler and get pics but failed) there is another panel on the same plant at 20"... the 7" nugs are hard and dense while the 20" nugs are bigger but due to many more sweet leaves and are more airy. I will try to find my ruler but I am pissed it is gone and have stopped looking :cheesygrinsmiley: even if I get pics of distance I can't show dense so you are just going to have to believe me. I have only once burned a top but it grew right into the light touching it.

Someone asked about how much space/width? you will get at 6" from this light. Did I mention I can't find my ruler? (It pisses me off just typing it again :cheesygrinsmiley:) I took a white card and got to 6" away from the light and overlapped it out into shadow, there was about 6" of light to the side but it is far weaker than the blasting light directly under the panel. The plant I have now has dense nugs right under its panel, further away less dense. If you are growing right up to it you might want the panel I have and one the next size down right next to it. That would give blasting light over the area you wanted. Disclaimer: I have not tried this with this panel AND results will vary WILDLY with strains, nutrients and focus (for you miwa).

I might try to get pics...

My panels are only 3 watts to bro, I got the info about the 5 watt panels from the designer of my lights. Do you remember my holy grail kush grow when the lights were still on movers? the lights were only 12 inches from the canopy and all the hairs were curling away from the light and turned brown prematurely, even on movers. The nugs were small and airy that round but the round before when I had the hgk in soil on the ground 24 inches from the light the plant produce large dense nugs(same pheno). I think alot of it has to do with what type of diodes are in the panel, some are alot more intense than others.
