I just checked your home state. My daughter came back from the Big Star this morning from a visit. Good place to keep snow bro.Only snow I hope to see this year is gonna be on my plants. LoL
We should be in the mid 60's all week with 40's at night. Works out perfect for me because I can crank up my HPS lights again. LoL
I was actually just upstairs taking pics of my Purple Kush CBD auto. I saw your pics & figured someone was sending a message! Had to say hi
Keep em purple....?
LoL, that just sounds strange...
In conversation with @Skybound we discussed the application of end of bloom drought and how we may integrate the method with another study. I plan to incorporate it into standard operating procedure with my private plants. This is exactly the same as I do with the last week of growing. not flushed but not watered either. starts the drying process off nicely.
It all seems a little like the Swazzing thing. defoliation in a more expensive skirt , and also the flush/just water/flushing products debate. often depends on the plants own growth pattern, genetics ect.. as to if it will play ball. Dehydration brings in thc for supple plant matter and possible seeding so seems no.matter when you do it , the effect will be similar , my thought was more "end of life survival" kicking in same as stem splitting, final finish products ect..As I recall, the drought period is followed by watering before harvest.
Haha, good deal! My screen name with them was baddad and I took no prisoners as well. Oh the board games.Me too. Just some house work. Make some cookies and the youngest boy has been requesting a board game marathon. He's into the classic games. Monopoly, Clue, Othello...
I don't hold back. I go for the win. My kids need to be taught how to deal with a bad winner. Lol.
I also teach them not to be bad losers and to be gracious winners.
So I'm giving her the opportunity to express herself FULLY as I've heard folk say. After I rescue her I'm going to see if she has any more to express by giving her a good screw right in the stalk by the root ball and put her in the dark for a couple of days. Have you heard this one?Ahoy Stone,
Looking good. For you to have wilt beginning to occur, better things are happening inside her at the molecular level. Each day going forward she will be trying her best to give the seeds (she thinks are inside her flowers) the best chance at survival. Species survival mechanisms will be the only task her genetics will allow her to consider, once she is convinced the well has ran dry. As the drought worsens her response will be dire and all efforts will be utilized to protect her kind.
Thanks CraZ! I love chop time and all this prelude is whipping me to a froth!Looking awesome in there Otter.
I'm splitting the stems too on these, and putting them in the dark. Let's trigger everything she's got!It all seems a little like the Swazzing thing. defoliation in a more expensive skirt , and also the flush/just water/flushing products debate. often depends on the plants own growth pattern, genetics ect.. as to if it will play ball. Dehydration brings in thc for supple plant matter and possible seeding so seems no.matter when you do it , the effect will be similar , my thought was more "end of life survival" kicking in same as stem splitting, final finish products ect..
Ooh glad you mentioned pistols. I didn't think to look there. Lights back on so I'm going back to check for doneness. Funny, the stem we're watching is turgid out to a point and as time goes by the angle is just getting closer to the main trunk. Soon!A gentle indicator I think valuable when considering different methods of drought application would be the turgid state (or lack of) in the pistillate populations. If she is no longer holding her pistil erect and searching for love, her active bloom period has ended. The pistil color change alerts you to the next progression, pistil retraction.
If after your drought period she is still in bloom I recommend rescue and fertigation. If on the other hand she is finished in her bloom you might consider leaving her in drought for a few more days, then commencing your harvest. Gosh, I am rooting for you either way. ROOTING hehe
Thanks Heavenly, we're getting back to life of the living again. Good to see ya!Hey there Stone! Just got caught up again. Lots of interesting things happening here, I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
I’m very sorry to hear about your family loss. Extra hugs and love being sent your way
