A Closet A Light & A Bucket Of Dirt

Gosh, it's getting to be a regular thing tapping you with reps. I keep this up and you'll be swinging a hammer as big as mine. :laughtwo:

Loved the homage to the Incredible Bulk. The strain review is the best one can hope for. "Easy to grow, fabulous plant, I'll gladly take this journey again."

Pretty pictures too. The well-deserved pride shines right through in them. Congratulations on a bountiful and fragrant harvest. That strong lemony smell speaks highly of the possibility of some happy buzzes ahead for you, my friend. :woohoo:

:bravo:

lol I have visions of this Looney Tunes blow up hammer :)

I am getting the loveliest comments today. Thank you.

Harvest day.

So begins the ceremony.

Today is the last day of our lady's life.
She has grown fat, sweet, and full of vigor.
We thank and honor her for her sacrifice.
We shall destroy you today so you may rise from the ashes of a great big fatty.
You shall be missed.

Lol

On day 58 of flower I butchered the Bulk.
This plant has been a dream to tend.
I did not have to do much. Just take care of her.
She was always very happy, so I left her alone.

I won't be much at strain reviews. It is just too subjective.
I will say the following though.

I bought a five pack of these seeds.
All five germinated.
All five grew very nice plants that I was pleased with.
I have grown it inside and outside with very nice results.
I will buy another five pack of these seeds because I want more.

Kudos to Dr Krippling.

This is the first time she has been out of the closet since she was a seedling.
She became one with the closet and it was a real bitch to get her out of there.

Here are a few pics that show her in a bit different light and of my bounty.

I found this odd. When I started actually cutting, the whole house smelled
like Lemon. Not kind of like lemon. I mean it smelled like an real freaking lemon.
My interest has increased. Nice.

Not to worry my love. You shall rise and we will meet again.

I think that I will put this strain on deck to grow after Rosie.
That could change, but I have a good feeling about this one.
It looks interesting and I ate a bowl of cereal because of the package.
If that ain't the universe screamin at ya, I don't know what is. Lol

I am too. It is one of those that you think will be awesome. I'm pretty sure it will be.
Anticipation is fun.

Thank you for your kind words.

Incredible Bulk

I was not planning on having an update yet but
our Lady Bulk is strong. She speaks from beyond.

I thought that she was looking outstanding after
only a couple of days.

The come hither look in this girls eyes was just too much.
It screams take me now. And take her I did.

I am not usually very interested in trying anything at this point.
Just not long enough. But the smell is still vibrant.
When I walk in the room it smells like a big stinky indica plant
drying over a bed of lemon gumdrops.

There is no hay taste in the bud yet. None.
I basically blow torched a small bud from the plant and I could taste lemon.
What should have made me have a coughing fit, caused nothing at all. That interests me.

The buzz at this point is what I can only describe as an eye buzz.
For me it is the kind of buzz that demands music.

If I can smoke, listen to music, and then notice it is an hour later.
Well, looks like I already got a winner.

Cheers

Gotta sub this up. Was reading this on toilet. Then spent last hour trying to refind this. Google searching "420magazine mylar emergency curtains black rose" didn't cut it. I had to open all newish journals and search for keyword rose. Was just about to give up. Im pulling up a comfy chair to watch you finish this off.

Cheers,

Spook

Re: A Closet A Light & A Bucket Of Dirt

I guess the only way to get to know a community is to jump right in.
So here goes.

Been growing off and on for around 30 years. Mostly outdoor growing.
I recently lost the luxury of growing outdoors so in the closet I went.

The Closet:
The "tent" is two Mylar emergency blankets hanging on, you guessed it, hangers in the closet.
The blankets are about two dollars each and can be picked up many places.

tent90.jpg

The Light:
Bought from one of the site sponsors, it is a DIY kit from Timber Grow Lights.
250 Watt Cree CXB3590. Five COBs.
The frame was built using twelve dollars worth of angled aluminum.

The Bucket of Dirt:
Current grow is all recycled dirt from previous grows, outside potted plants, coffee grounds the occasional banana peel etc etc.
The next grow I will use Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Been cold and rainy here and I'm not feeling the need to play in the mud.
Besides, I have a bag of it.

The Nutes:
Two Tablespoons Every Other Watering. Buds by Burpee. Lol.

nutes213.jpg

Three or Four Times During Flower - One Teaspoon Per Gallon - 1/3 Strength

nutes113.jpg

I will use fish emulsion during veg if needed. I just don't have any to show you right now.
It is cheap and works really well. It also smells really bad.

Temperature and Humidity:
I like it about 71 degrees Fahrenheit (21.6 Celsius) and about 50 percent humidity.
I get too hot otherwise and I don't like the air too dry.

My current lady is an Incredible Bulk from Dr. Krippling Seeds.
This is Day 50 of flower for her.
She was topped twice and vegged for about five weeks.
Question - Would you still top plants if you could hear them scream?

On deck is Sugar Black Rose from Delicious Seeds.
She is two days old.

You will quite often see that some pics have the stray hair in them that you can see.
Here is the culprit. Just part of the package. Her name is Pepe and she stays.
Pepe is a Papillion and just turned 8 years old.

There you have it. I would offer you a chair, but we are in a closet.
There is room for all though. It's a virtual closet.
Lol nice plant but what training did u do to her? Those are sum sexy buds. And is that a ricotta cheese container??
