A Closet A Light & A Bucket Of Dirt

If something happened to our babies....growing is therapeutic but can also be devastating at the same time

Once you have some back ups in veg, you become a little bit conditioned to losing one. Life and death, played out on a small scale that's going to benefit you almost every time. Kinda like life itself.

I agree cannoisseuras, we form these almost irrational attachments to cannabis. We name them and treat them like children, call them "my girls." It used to amuse me, and now I do the same. :laughtwo: Oft times I suspect that the plant forms a bond of its own with the loving cultivator and delivers a medication custom-made for the human that guided it's lifespan. I try to treat all my plants with respect and love. It bothers my core to do otherwise.

Do you talk to yours, if you don't mind my asking? :battingeyelashes:

Very true sue, indeed. As one gets a bit further into the game, time moves a bit quicker. It does become slightly easier to become the executioner, the harbinger of total death, you know, the murderer we must become,,

I, at this very moment have two male plants sitting in my studio that I simply must dispose of, but its cold out side, they ( not me, not 'the boys, Chuck and Bob',, nope, not me) might get a chill, poor things. I keep saying to myself,, maybe i should run em and harvest some pollen??? Course I know I will not, but makes it easier for me

Recently I had to execute my whole lower flower level, some plants half way thru flower, because of bugs, it was hard, indeed, but so necessary at times, so i found out. The garden much better since then

Cheers friends, I gotta go to an execution,, gotta get some pop and candy,,

Ha sue, last comment,, yes, I talk to my plants, certainly at the least I say good morning and good night. But I do talk tho objects a lot seems like.. You should hear me talk to rocks at work,, i sing to em too. Rock are great at harmony

Actually I do talk to them sweet sue and my wife always teases me lol

My husband used to laugh at me too. :laughtwo: Called me "Mother Nature." Lol!

Talking to the plants HELPS the plants to grow.. co2 or something... ( need more coffee to wake up) So talk away :)
I open the door to the grow space and just feel the love and all bad goes away:Love:

We will just do a quickie today.
A nooner of an update you could say.

Here is Rosie at 17 days.
She may have been just a touch sad after the transplant.
Doing well otherwise it seems.
So far, so good.

Looking lovely bru! I love the light colour to her, funny you should mention nooner, it just went midnight in SA! Is this her final container?

Pat you just make enthusiasm jump of the screen brother. I love it.

Yes, this will be her home. My general rule of transplanting is don't do it if you don't have to. Lol

Cheers

Hello there PrincessFiona. Thank you for stopping by.

Naming. hmm. Can be a personal thing.
For me, I would stay with princess fiona.
To me, names are not meant, they just are.

But that is just me.

Cheers

They're both lovely plants there Ditchweed and Princess Fiona, they look beautiful and healthy. I notice they've both been trained and wonder whether it's for aesthetics, yield per space/time or a pastime. I wonder because I see all these plants looking well trained and they look beautiful in comparison to my ragged lot, but I always feel that they have enough room, light, nutes if I remember etc and wonder if it's something that I should be doing. I do top the odd plant if the mood comes upon me and I've tried training and ended up with the same shape plant but leaning like the Tower of Piza. I know it sounds like a noob question but I'd rather ask as not lol, is training something I should be doing? :thumb:
