A Closet A Light & A Bucket Of Dirt

Hello friends.

Here is the smoke report for Rosie - Sugar Black Rose.

The smoke is in a word, awesome. Very smooth with a citrus twist.

The smell is citrus and floral for the most part. A very sweet pleasant smell.
One of the best smelling plants from start to finish of any I have grown. Glorious.

The buzz is strong. Rosie gonna knock you out type of strong. Definitely an evening strain.
I have trouble sleeping so it works there.

Sugar Black Rose is a great strain to grow and smoke. I have already ordered more seeds.
Kudos to Delicious Seeds.

I just smoked through the larfy bucket of goo and have grabbed some out of the jars for the first time.
Very nice.

Here are just a few pics of Rosie from start to finish.
I hope the next one I grow does as well.

Wow Ditch, Buffy's just exploding with blossoms. :slide: You've established a nice flow to the perpetual. I'm still refining my schedule. Once I get the CBD Critical Cure out of the closet and start the next DDAs I'll breathe a sigh of relief. I'm still figuring out the flow. :battingeyelashes:

I never seem to top more than once. Do you feel it increases the yield that much more, or is this simply the rhythm you've settled into?

Thanks Sue. It is pretty easy when you are only dealing with a couple plants at a time.
You have a lot more going on than I do. MUCH more. Lol.

I like the size and shape that I get with topping twice. Let's me fill that space without getting too tall.
Not sure about yield, but topping twice and a 30-40 day veg gets me the size and shape I like.

Cheers friend.

What a beautiful patio plant, kudos to the fine plant er, that being the ditchman, ditcher, ditchweed,

That skinny runt turned into a beauty,, hey, could be a movie there, hmmm

Rosie treating you well friend???

Good stuff ditcher,, my mastik is all jarred up,, will post about it later today,, maybe spill it here tho,, biggest plant by a mile for me, close enough to near exactly one hundred grams to call it an even hundred grams

A three jarrer, never had even two full before, and that is dried to under sixty, just, so weights are true

Pleased as punch,, have some pics, will journalize it later,, cheers friend,,

Hello my friends.

Buffy is still chugging along on day 55.
She seems to have a lot of flowers forming so we shall see where she ends up.
Whenever that may be. Lol.

Cheers from the closet.

Closets looking good brother, buffy didnt take long to start moving.
She was about half that size not too long ago. ;)

Smoke report on rosie was killer, never get sick of looking at snaps of that thing.

Buffy has a sweet sativa profile, suggesting some ethereal buzzes ahead of you. Had to give reps for Rosie's retrospective. Amazing how they start so tiny and end so huge. I never tire of watching the ride. :laughtwo:

I was looking at the pictures and wondering what your priorities are when you go looking for the next strain? It appears you're running an apparent indica-dominant to a sativa-dominant and back to the indica influence. Is this by plan or happenstance? Or am I misreading the attributes of your choices based on a cursory glance at plant structure?

good stuff !!! :thumb:

Thanks Prof!!

Buffy is looking spectacular! Sam is bushy as hell too. I like where this is going!

Cheers mouser. I am liking Sam more and more. Looks like about a 35 day veg for her. Give or take. Lol.

Much appreciated Mr. Wzrd.

Thank you Sue.

Buffy has been an odd plant, that is for sure. She seems to have grown out of most of her little deformities.
A very easy plant so far. Plus the roller coaster ride has been entertaining from her. Lol.

I like all kinds of smoke so I usually switch up the indica and sativa mixes for variety.
Sugar Black Rose will be grown again soon. I love the buzz. Love the smell. Just killer.

I am really interested in this Sugar Candy that I am currently growing.
Supposed to be a smelly one. Lol.
Her parents are Sugar Black Rose and Caramelo I think. I have seen fine specimens of both.

Cheers Sue. Have a great one.

Just doing a drive bye... Seen ya'll talking toppings and yields.. But a big yes. Least my 2 cents.. As long as you let it recover and put out 3 or 4 new sets of leaf. The more 'primary' tops, the bigger yield. Ofcourse you gotta know your plant. Some plants have massive single colas and topping actualy takes from yield.. I like to top even 4 or 5 times on some. Outdoors now, I top something everyday. When plants can grow more than a foot a week. But it also helps if you need another week or so in veg.
Loved the slide show of your last.. You have a nice start on the next for sure. GL and Keepem Green

Wow Ditch :bravo: Thank you for guiding us through those two harvests. Rosie looks like it soared beyond the primo bud I usually come across. And Buffy! I couldn't tell she was an auto this whole time. She grew so evenly, Can't wait to see how she does.

Just a question, you use Burpee's brand, does it have beneficial mykos and bacteria? I use something similar by Fox Farms and its always nice to compare. :thumb: Keep on growing that green!

Cheers Woody. I think that topping increases yield as well.
It is about filling the available space for me as well.

Thanks HiddenGrow. I am looking forward to seeing where Buffy ends up as well.

No Mykos in the Burpee Magic. Lol.
It does have what it says is beneficial bacteria. It works very well though.
It is basically granulated, time released, chicken poop.

Awesome journal and gorgeous plants. I've grown a few delicious seeds and have loved them. I think sugar black rose will be on my list. Keep up the motivation!!
