A Closet A Light & A Bucket Of Dirt

But I have to say this,,,, I live in the Best Country in the world. I'm in my humble opinion. Not taking from any other countries.. I might be alittle prejudice in saying this phrase, seeing I'm from here. But "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it". There are ALOT of countries that wood give anything to have our freedoms that we take for granted. Is there better run governments,,, probably. But I bet peoples in those countries still snivel...... That's what peoples do when being governed and have laws. Even if I think some laws are garbage. Believe me, is alot I don't agree with, but...........
Girls are filling in nicely. Your going to have some nice compact bushes there Ditchweed... Keepem Green

I agree with Norcal, for instance we in SouthAfrica still have no medical cannabis laws and there is still alot of court cases going on to make it somewhat legal, although I would imagine they would try and squeeze you dry by taxes and such. I would love a law which will allow an individual grower to have 4-6 plants legally, for medical and recreational use if need be. However I feel we are still a few years off from it, I can surely say that US is far ahead on us regarding this. Plant looks lovely Ditch!! The green is just beyond belief :passitleft: :adore:

Who gave the world drug laws? reason countries have no medical mj laws. Big countries can really hurt little ones if you don't follow what they say. Then they decide to change shit up, to be able to tax that income.. There's a lot of history with this shit, don't get down on your country like they don't care for you. Learn the history cause that's all it is now. Shits changing everywhere, it'll take time but money creates change (sadly...?...)

I hear what you are saying my friend. I just get tired of society beating its head against the same wall.
We spend so much time, effort and money to control the uncontrollable.

Just a little rant. Lol.

@ Pat - Thanks brother!

@ Grizz - Money, I think you found the root of the evil. The problem that is being had is that the correct
People must make the the big bucks from legalization.
I just want to grow, smoke, and be left alone.

That does suck but that's for the MJ dispensaries though rite?....that is a lot of money but if its in a state that's legal wouldn't the average Joe be able to have up to so many plants growing in their house

Nothing will change for the home growers of Ohio. It will still be just as illegal, maybe more so.

@Spookies - I like this plant too. She is so short and stocky I am curious on how she grows out.

Re: A Closet A Light & A Bucket Of Dirt

Example.....maryland is legal for medical but it has been decriminalized along with paraphernalia as well.

So there is no fine or jail time in Maryland for paraphernalia and if you have under 10 grams of bud its just a $100 fine. The tent and lights excreta would fall under paraphernalia so people wouldn't need to worry about that and as for growing if the plant is 10grams or less its a $100 fine. Over ten grams but up to so many pounds (not sure the exact number) is a fine and possibly up to a year in jail...possibly...... but if they ever find anyone growing any plants they weigh the whole plant. Whatever soil is on the roots will be calculated in as the total weight of the plant. But if they suspect you of manufacturing/growing to sell then the fines and punishment and penalties will be greater. Even more so for repeat offenders.

NORML. should have an updated breakdown of your states current laes

It's not money thats the root of evil. It's the human beings lust for money is where the evil comes in. Money is just a piece of paper or a little bit of alloy

Whatever you would like to call it, sure seems to be all important to a lot of people.

Wow Ditch. You let me get away with neglecting your room this long? Where was I? Oh yeah.... Brownies. :laughtwo:

We are all drowning in filth. When I talk to anyone or read the writings of anyone who has any axe to grind,
I feel that intellectual honesty and balanced judgement have simply disappeared from the face of the earth. ...
Everyone is dishonest, and everyone is utterly heartless towards people who are outside the immediate
range of his own interests.
What is most striking of all is the way sympathy can be turned on and off like
a tap according to political expediency.

I did not write the words above. A man named George Orwell did.
He wrote them in 1942. Perhaps the world has not changed as
much as we try to fool ourselves into believing that it has.

George didn't have much of a self-image did he? Poor soul. He wrote up a storm though. He knows better now. :cheesygrinsmiley:

great post friend,, sad as heckapotamus, but true,,

so reminds me of a movie i watched once,, maybe the same era,, forties or so,, a bunch of adults, supposed adults sitting around a table talking about the youth of today, that 40's today, how they were so messed up and gone to hell in a hand basket, whatever the hell in a hand basket that means

we are on a progression,, nothing new for thousands of years,, everything has been said, thot and done,,

i think

You got it nivek. We simply repurpose with new inspiration, in our attempts to make things better as we go on. We're human, it's what we do.

It's a bit raw though, I reckon George either lost a good friend or even worse never had one. Don't be like George, live well :ganjamon:

I found myself wondering if his mother might have handed him a bottle of prune juice and said "Drink this, you'll feel better." :laughtwo:

That just sounds so horrible. I don't approve of politicians being in charge of this. :thedoubletake:

Oh, that we could find a way to get our politicians out of the market, eh? What a blissful thought. Maybe that's where we should be focusing our collective energies.

But I have to say this,,,, I live in the Best Country in the world. I'm in my humble opinion. Not taking from any other countries.. AMEN Woody. I'd rather duke it out here where they won't shoot me in the streets or whisk me off in the dead of the ni........ Wait! We do that, don't we? Never mind. We have a lot of positive work ahead of us.

Sadly Grizz, America has to accept the lion's share of responsibility for the global madness. We gave the world Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Bush, and now the joys of Trump. We, as a society, apologize. We're trying our best to make it better. Please be patient with us. We really didn't understand until very recently the true damage we did with these misguided policies. At large, we're a country dedicated to helping and building hope. We're still learning how to evolve as a society, but I have great faith in our ability to get it right.

I hear what you are saying my friend. I just get tired of society beating its head against the same wall.

The crux of our dilemma.

That does suck but that's for the MJ dispensaries though rite?....that is a lot of money but if its in a state that's legal wouldn't the average Joe be able to have up to so many plants growing in their house

Arizona has a rule in their law that states if you live within 50 miles of a dispensary you are not permitted to grow your own. You see cannoisseuras, what I grow in the privacy of my home can't be tracked and taxed by my friendly local, state and federal governments. In the legalization of medical cannabis someone forgot there were actual patients out there who might actually need the cannabis to heal, and maybe, just maybe it'd be more beneficial to them if they could grow in their homes and on their own properties.

The siren call of tax money. We didn't factor in how powerful that would be. We have some rocky days ahead.

I like this plant

Agreed. She is a pretty one. :battingeyelashes:  She's so wonderfully bushy. I can't wait to see how much she stretches. For some reason, mine don't stretch much. Maybe because I've learned to train them so well, or it's the strains I choose, but I anticipate more than I've yet to see. It's fun to watch so many other cultivators work their magic. Your beauties are simply gorgeous themselves Spookies. I can see you plopped down in that easy chair enjoying watching gentle breezes stir their leaves on a lazy afternoon. What bliss. :dreamy:

Consider if you will, that every state so far, I believe, has outlawed the production of concentrates in your home. This means it's illegal for us to not only grow our own but to process it into CCO, or shatter, or hash. Yeah, that's enforcable without special "units" of "peace officer" teams working every neighborhood. There's a world we were hoping for.

It's not money thats the root of evil. It's the human beings lust for money is where the evil comes in. Money is just a piece of paper or a little bit of alloy

How easily we forget this simple part of the equation. It's a tool people. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no shortage, other than what we choose to create.

Makes me wonder if things are going to change for the better or if we are going to move backwards and lose the progress that weve made once the p elect has been sworn in

We're always moving forward. It's important that we remember this at all times. Forward momentum. Regardless of the madness, or the appearance of governmental insanity, we stay steadfastly on a path that moves us into a more inclusive future. Again, we're human. It's what we do. No one said it had to be elegant. That's a good thing.

Whatever you would like to call it, sure seems to be all important to a lot of people.

We can change that. There's great hope for us, and in the end, we're all eternal anyway and all of this is transitory. Live, laugh, love. Have fun with it. Life is meant to be fun.

Good morning Ditch. That felt good. I love a room full of good conversation. Thanks for indulging me. :hugs:

Awww hell.... that deserves another hug. :hugs:

I love a good conversation too. Thanks for joining my friend.

I liked Regan. I was living in Cali when he was prez,,,, and work was everywhere.. I as a painter, could turn down a job or two back then,, there was houses going up everywhere. All the way from the Bay Area to Sacramento houses went up,,, And the all got filled up with people too... Was a scary time and he did a great job. To each..... Keepem Green

Have to remember I grew up in a day when legalization was unheard of. And then here we are, the USA, the first place on the face of the earth one could grow a legal pot plant. Or buy medical marijuana. Granted laws about weed have come along ways here,, and still alot longer to go.. But is alot of places I woodn't want to get caught growing... Don't they cut your pecker off in some countries? JK Kind of. But we do have alot more freedoms here than most do. Understood alot of laws plain unjust and stupid. Least we can and will be able to change these,,, as seen with the marijuana laws. Legal/Illegal/Legal? Man if I had gotten caught back in the early 70's in Arkansas, growing 25-30 plants....... Get a rope. I here they got medical now........ Way cool. But I could've stayed the draft in the 40's if we grew hemp. Well Life goes on,,,,, babbling here... Keepem Green

There's always people out to make "more money" but there's a lot
of people out there just trying to make "some money". Money to live.
People with disability's that cant work and are virtually stuck on a pension.

Some people say the pension is free money and they wish they could get it.
In honesty the people saying this would have no idea. The price of living
continues to go up,the pension, not so much. if your rent is a few hundred dollars a week
and your getting say 800 a fortnight, the money gets real thin, real quick.

On top of medical bills, private health (some of us need it for operations),food, and
bills there really isnt much there and a lot of people are trying to supplement
what money they get from the government by growing. I know a lot of people doing this.
It sure isnt anything to do with extravagance, or making their stack fatter, it's
simply just trying to get by. Risking their freedom doing it.

Bit of a ramble there.lol. I'm glad i found this community, and feel right at home here
as we can all relate on a lot of levels, and have similar views on a lot of things.

Grow on brothers and sisters. Booya! ;)

If i didnt grow, i couldnt afford to smoke, if i didnt sell off enough to pay the bills i couldnt grow, its a catch 22 situation. The people i sell to actually need it though and one has been approved for medical but wont touch the pharma meds, he cant grow because he is in a wheelchair, he has tried, this sends him to the black market to buy, so for me its a way of getting by and helping others, not about ever making big dollars out of it, im just happy i get to work on the one thing i love every day, even if it is illegal  If i had the option of a legal grow of my own it would be all done by the books with tax or whatever needs to be done, my problem is the laws they are looking to bring in mean you have no ownership over anything, you are a grower and the government take ownership everything you produce including waste to produce their pharma meds they want to push, this means no control over what you grow either, it will be what they expect of you. We wont see any decent growing laws over here unless they start talking recreational.

To me it is about how willing people are to believe lies. Most seem to not even want to know any different.
Willful ignorance is truly a dangerous thing. Not just talking about marijuana here either.

People seem more concerned with being considered right by others than actually being right.
Those with the most cash get to make the rules. Cash really does become king.
This leads into the might makes right arena. That is where people get hurt. That's history, and history is bloody.

It appears that humanity is no where the end of painting its town red.

Now, just so I don't take myself too serious...

I will do an update after I open up the "tent".

The 4 pound bags of plant food come in real handy here. Great anchors.
Multi purpose plant food. Glorious. Lol.

Cheers.
