Hi guys this is what is going on after two days with the metal halide, they undertook a bit of stress during transplant but it have given some super thrive and bio bizz root juice so hopefully that will help too :)

IMO your better waiting longer because right now you only need to run one light. When you transplant you'll have to use both lights.

For me transplanting is always more about space. You'd be surprised how big a plant can get in a 1gal container. On the other hand the less transplants you do and the earlier you do them will give your plant more time to recover and it will experience less stress. So it's kind of a balancing act lol

Hope that helps a little :)

Yeah I was thinking not for a week or two considering they were just extremely stressed I think after transplant but the super thrive will help.
I think I may do one more transplant to my final pot. Do you think that is a good idea or not?
Also is there an idea of size to reach in these one gallon pots I just don't Want to take them out of a pot just to checks root mass or anything.

:peace:

Helppppp

Hey everyone,

Just went to check the baby's and one or two looked a bit like this, now I would assume too much heat or not enough humidity??

My temps did reach 30 degrees overnight at one point, but once my new inline fan arrives then it should be fine. But any ideas what this has happens??

Thanks everyone!

Hi Alex!
I'm subbed up now. A quick read through for the moment. Definitely looks like you have some heat stress there, so it's good that you moved that light up. When your leaves start to curl up at the edges they are trying to protect themselves, in this instance is what I see as the reason.
A good way to test your heat is to place your hand above your plants, and see if your hand gets uncomfortably hot under that bulb. If it does, you will need to raise your light.
Also, I will check back through the pics...but it really helps to put a fan pointing up toward the light to distribute some of the heat away from the plants. I have a small fan doing just that, working perfectly.
You will be fine once you get that heat stress out of the picture. :-)
There is a chart I will post for you on the light distances that you can refer to. I will find that in a bit too. ;-)
I will go through more thoroughly in a while. (I'm at work. SHHHHHH....LOL)
Other than that you are looking great!

just an fyi I know you said you had 2x600 watt lights but I can't remember how big your tent is. I just turned on my 400 watt in a 4x4x7 ft tent and I'm having a hard time with heat management.

Thanks that helps. I was quite worried when I woke up and seen then like that so I did raise the light up a bit, I have attached a photo to show you currently how high it is. I am getting cool tubes delivered in a few days as well as a better in line fan and carbon filter which is 140% more airflow so all that should help controlling this heat. ;)
Good idea I may get another one or two oscillating fans :)
Ok good to know the problems can be easily sorted out, and when the other metal halide goes on the heat will be higher so the cool tube reflectors and that should be needed.
At work..... Naughty!! :P

It's a 6.5 ft squared tent bud. And I know that's why Ive bought an in line fan almost 3 times as strong in respect to air movement and cool tube reflectors so it will cool the room down adequately when I Add my other 600 watt light!!

I didn't realize they came with built in speed controllers? I still have to shell out 20 bucks to buy one of those. Although at full blast the negative pressure inside the tent is pretty sweet.
