I've just pulled my 3 sensi skunk seeds out of the drink. 100% crack rate.. however I'm jumping straight into root riot cubes.. I don't like poking a long thin tap root into a hard sponge lmao. Maybe if you go straight to soil.
When you can see a good few lol of tap root that's when I poke the girls in and let them breath

Always room Wren! Thanks for the compliments! I’m excited to do this grow with nobodyhere! I’ll be learning as I go for sure. I’ll definitely have more questions for the viewers..lol. But hopefully when it’s done we can see how HSO’s 707 Headband grows with different lights, different height restrictions, different grow media. Hopefully someone will find it useful one day!Room for another guys?

I saw the Lemon Kush HB...have you cracked one yet? There was also another lemon auto something or other.
Yeah joint grows are cool. Love the idea! I’m pretty new to growing but have a couple indoor harvests under my belt so far. We can all share thoughts and experience and surely there would be some points that could be helpful. Reminders aren’t bad either!
707HB is a nice looking plant! Also I do like HSO
@NBH, I haven’t yet popped those 5 LK HB’s. I’m currently awaiting my Doc Bud HB Kit. Those will be what I grow out for my first HB grow. Should happen in 40days or so if all goes well.
I’ve grown Bubba Kush a auto by HSO and it was nice. Just I made a lot of newbie mistakes. Still got a harvest and enjoyed it. It was a success but much left to improve on.
Really wanna get these Lemon HB’s going. Master Kush also. I’m a Kush lover
I haven’t seen the Lemon Auto in the local grow shop I go to. Sort of want o try photoperiods for Doc’s Kit because I haven’t seen many journals on Autos in his Kit. Probably due to his feeding schedule isn’t tailored to their faster lifetime.

Houston, we may have a problem! Seed cracked last night but paper towels dried out overnight and taproot looks curled some and has an off white color to it. Rewet the towels and will see how it looks this afternoon. I have to work today so I’ll see if the root has grown any this afternoon and if not I will try to pop another one. If it has grown some then I would think she’s still got a chance. Does that sound like a good plan?

She'll be curling looking for a drink. Aslong as the whole tap doesn't feel dry you should be fine.
I popped my 3 seeds into the root riot cubes and there just nestled away lovely. They have remained surprisingly moist. And I've only had to give a few drops of water out of a syringe.
Get the paper nice and wet. Double up on paper for extra measure. See how she is tomorrow.

Should be fine , next time try this, Take a single paper towel sheet, wet generously, lay down flat. Place seed in middle. Gently fold it up 3-4 times into squares.
Place in a Ziploc sandwich bag. Can use a sharpie to mark the strain and # plant.
This keeps the moisture from evaporating and I’ve had 9/10 seeds germinate well for me. Never had to re wet even if a seed took an extra day.
My only worry is how much fresh oxygen will the seed get this way. Probably nothing to fret about. I leave the bag with some air inside. Just be delicate when handling like any seed. Also doesn’t hurt to soak the seed in a glass of water for 8-12hrs prior to soften it up.

Had about 3mm tap, good crack, shellhead open about a little less than 45. Pulled out of the paper towel and placed in a 1g with my mixed soil topped with fox farms light warrior (starter), plopped in the hole with a light coating of mykos and moistened with pro-tekt diluted at foiliar rate.
Hope were up by Wed cause that is when I head out of town. I normally would go for a little more tap.

Tap root grew some more today so she was put in the kit about 2hrs ago. She’s in the tent. Hopefully she keeps growing! Watered the soil with transplant mixture.
