700W LED - Auto Topping Grow - 2 Plants

Norcal thanks mate by the time she is dry and im hi i still got automazar to harvest.been looking at vids of automazar see how long she can go.i seen longest 105 days.im gna take mine abit longer.she is super frosty and so dense.and still budding like a sativa throwing out hairs everywere;) so she should do me well;) happy growing:)

I took my Mazars to 100 days before I chopped. But mine were loaded with seed from the reversal project so no comparison to an unseeded bud. I left the bottom flowers on both to continue growing until I actually see seeds falling of of it just to be sure they are fully mature. Even at 100 days, there was only about 15% amber and the rest cloudy. I did try to pop some of the early seeds and even though they looked perfect I have not been able to get them to germinate. So we shall see how they are after maturing on the plants for an extra couple of weeks.

Already sampled some and it vaporizes with a wonderful sweet taste and a great buzz that takes you thru a Sativa like buzz and if you don't get moving right then and there, you will find yourself staring into space for the next hour or two. :rofl: I can't wait to run this strain again with out seeding reducing the yield and quality.

Hey beast, could you stop by my journal and give me any ideas. I'm thinking maybe I don't have enough light. I saw someplace on the web that minimum should be 50 true watts per sq.ft. I have 5 sq.ft. and the Mars II 400 is 178 true watts. So only have 35.6 watts per sq.ft.
I looked into more LEDs and was thinking either get a Mars classic 300 as a supplement or get a new Mars II 700 or a second 400.

@Bill the Cat
I'm not sure how correct that number is for LED. For example I have two P300s in my 3x3 tent. The pull at the wall when both switches are on 180 watts each. So 360 watts total for 9 square feet or only 40 per sq. ft and I don't know how it could be any brighter in there. I know there is probably no such thing as too much light but I have to keep these two lamps at least 24 inches away from my girls or they get light stress. When I only had one P300 they could get much closer to the lamp. I keep seedlings in the tent on the floor and have zero stretch with the lights near the top of the tent. The girls that flower under them have solid buds and I know the PAR footprint for two of these lights in this size tent is saturated.

Of course I'm sure some of it for LEDs is the spectrum they are putting out and the PAR footprint, but would love to see some hard science on this subject, including all light sources but primarily LEDs. Again, there is no such thing as too much light but I thing at some point you will get diminishing returns versus the costs involved. Of course, this might not make any sense at all since I am sitting here typing and pulling on a vape full of Auto Mazar. :rofl: :volcano-smiley:

Lilred welcome did she start in the ground.or recently switched from pot to ground? And a pic would help;) happy growing
I started it in a solo cup and I planted her at 28 days old.....I had to move all my plants to another location....those in the ground had to be dug up.

Here she is at 52 days old

So much to learn...so many journals to follow.
