Hi Beast,

Have you ever taken out the entire third set of leaves when topping? Having a long running bout of insomnia again and my hand is not as steady as it usually is. I was ready to top yesterday at day 12, but put it off until this morning thinking the extra growth would give me a bit more room for error. 3 damn times in a row this morning I cut 3/4 of the way through the stem on the leaf on the other side of my cut, so I took out both. I now have 3 Jack Herrers with 2 sets of full leaves (instead of 3), with the cut I made and 4 new tops visible below. Thinking about this logically...this should cause no real harm, maybe just slow it down a day or 2 while the other leaves grow large enough to replace those 2 "generators". It may also even allow the 2 tops that would have had to grow out from under to accelerate as they are now in open light. I am not concerned for the health of the plant in any way, just curious about the new progression.
 
Schtiggy sorry to hear mate.happens to the best of us.but it wont bother them 1 bit.theyl just see it as been topped.growth will not slow if there healthy u will see.good job ;)

Yeah, the 3 I topped this morning were all Jack Herrer Autos. These are from a CKS plant that went hermie and pollinated everything in the tent. I ended up with about 30 years+ worth of Jack Herrer and, since there was a Revolver in there too, Jack's Revolver seeds. This is probably the only reason I had the balls to experiment so viciously on 10 of my plants :) The pics, under LED, below are my topped SAS auto on day 34, and the other pics are the 3 Jack Herrer autos topped today, on day 13. These are the 3 that I made the shaky cuts on and lost the entire 3rd set of leaves. :)

Schtiggy awsome work mate.u got urself alot of auto seeds then mate quality lad. Top job.and ur plants are looking super happy.and perfect job on the topped young ones.there gna enjoy that;)

Thanks alot mono mate i know u appreciate ur big girls.i did mazar last run so i know she is gna bud beautifully for me.first time running nl blue.but says in her info her flower adundance matches its veg growth.so things could get wild.time will tell;)

When you give plain water, do you get run off like normal? Also, do you pH the water?
I use RO and find the pH level is all over the place before I add nutes so not sure whether to put in pH up or down
 
Schtiggy thanks mate she is a beauty.she has impressed me for sure.and ur bang on mate every time i open the tent i have to look twice.is it actually real.yes ,yes she is lol.is a mighty auto.first delicious seed i have tried.so very impressive genetics.reps to delicious seeds.for creating a monster auto;) happy growing every1;)
 
Five thanks mate.and no iv never check ph dont own a metre or anything normally use biobizz light mix thats ph perfect soil.goes with my ph perfect feed.but these girls are in general multipurpose compost this run. Self set challenge.just done what i normally do use my eyes to tackle any problems.working great so far. And i never water to get run off.i make sure my plants absorbed everything given to them at all times;)

That makes sense. I use coco/perlite and don't have pH perfect nutes so I need the meter.
I'll just give plain water at first and see what happens.
