Here's today's update. My ladies seem to be loving the BPN.
Here you can see the start of my two main colas forming. Quite pleased with myself. They are growing exactly how I wanted them to.

I think its good your making changes to your original plan. I may get a few laughs (at me) for bringing up chess, but one of the best skills you can learn is to be counter effective - which is what made great military leaders on the battlefield as well.
I just smoked some lemon skunk 10 min ago haha! But seriously great journal, very healthy looking imo thus far.
Oh and congrats on the nearly free nutes.

Topped the GTD and the CD for a second time

Based on what I've seen from similar setups I'm hoping to see buds start to form in around 10 or so days from now.
EDIT: Oh yeah and I addressed my tent suck issue. despite adding 6 more vertical bars to the frame tent suck is still an issue. 165cfm for a tent this size is just way too much. I haven't ordered my filter yet but I will soon and I'm hoping that will help with the tent suck issue as well.

Pick up a speed controller, they're about $20, it will let you dial that fan down a bit. I have mine running at about 60% since heat isn't a factor, I just want the air exchange.

I was thinking about stealing the one my wife uses for her uh..."back massager" but I don't think that would go over to well. When I bought the fan the dude at my local hydro store told me that using a fan controller will put unnecessary strain on it and shorten lifespan. Odd considering it's his job to sell me things like fan controllers. I honestly don't understand why that would be. Anyone care to chime in on that one?

I love tent suck. It tells me the fan is working. If they are not touching the plants it's a normal thing and you shouldn't stress over it. However, to have a peace of mind open up the bottom flap for more air to coming while the fan is on to eliminate/reduced the sucking.

I liked it too until my girls started getting bigger. I'm pretty sure they are touching the sides. At this point I'm thinking maybe positive pressure is the way to go for this situation. When you're dealing with a 2x2 tent losing a couple inches here and there is an issue.
Dig the new logo btw. You do that yourself or have it commissioned?

2x2 is cozy and I can see what you mean by loosing few inches all around. You can always get some metal fence from home improvement stores, tide/nail it to the wood pillars you already have, and that should enforce the sides from tent suck. Get the one that will not rust since humidity/water splash may wear it down over time.
The logo is my own design. Appreciate the compliment. :}

Awesome. I like the idea of branding your meds. What did you use? illustrator? Looks like a nice crisp vector. Would be right at home on a business card or letter head.

I encourage everyone to stand out while remaining anonymous with some creative logo/avatar. One glance at it and others will know who it is, unless someone else uses your logo/avatar. haha

I used some PVC to battle tent suck in my Grow 5.1. It's in a 4x4 tent and works great. Just need some "T's" and some PVC pipe and you're set.
In a 2x2 it should work great.

yeah I saw that. I was actually going to but I couldn't find the fittings I wanted in the right size so I ended up just getting the boards instead. It helped but it didn't eliminate it. I'll use this method for my larger grow whenever that happens.

Mine doesn't translate near as well to 80x80 as your's does but I had fun with it.
