Hmmm....... covered in goo huh are u sure that was from the colas and not from your led penis test..:grinjoint:

...but man those ladies are frosty and fantastic i can almost smell them. The sativa strains always crack me up cuz they are soo damn twiggy :rasta:
Any estimates on harvest dates based on what they look like now?

With your LED heat tests, and bud fondling...
By the time you get to Setting Sun's orgasmic trich shots, maybe 420 can sign Vivid Video as a sponsor to clean this place up a bit!;)

lmao. thats funny man.

its the molasses and sugar making them so sticky and frosty most likely.

they still have at least 5-6 weeks left on the grow until their done, their not even half way done yet

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

very nice irish. . . . that light seems to be doing very well. . . . but more than that, you seem to be doing everything right for these girls.

good luck bro, so far everything is very impressive.

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

Irish those are some sexy frosty girls! Looks like they're getting ready to yield you a good amount, props! :goodjob:

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

I have heard of molasas and sugar but never tried it. how and when do you apply it?

right now i am using a free bottle of flora pineapple rush made by GH. witch is almost the same as molasses. but if you want to use molasses use black strap molasses at 1tbs per gallon, mix it in a drinking glass or something stir the $hit out of it then add it to ur nutes. this is how i always done it and works for me.

ya i would say so far the light is doing good, better then i thought it would do from using leds in the past grows..lol.

and yes i take care of my lady's very well, always trying to help them every way possible. i am also trying to prove a point on just using basic nutes without all these bud enhancers and crazy products. i hope i prove myself right..lol seems to be working great so far, just GH Micro, Bloom, and sugars/carbs added.

these things have so much resin its beyond crazy, big tall resin glandes. i am going to try to barrow a camera from a friend some time to get some close ups because my camera sucks taking those photos. i hope these girls yield me a good amount, just trying to pick a good strain for the next grows, theirs no doubt that the Hindu skunk has allot fatter buds, but if my XJ-13 fills in good i will have some big/long colas, i think its more of a longer bloomer.

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

Damn Irish those plants are stacking like crazy. They look awesome! I wish I had like 4 more of these lights because I want to run a scrog so damn bad. Need to get mike on the horn..lol.

a scrog would be sweet. but to be honest i think if you veged your girls a little more and used some bush master to keep them short, and let them flower for a few weeks longer with a good bud booster you can pull some fat fat buds. my friend dose it and all his buds look like foot balls rock solid.

I hear what yours saying but I dont have enough space to veg longer, especially flower longer. Max I can fit in is 7 rows in my flower area. Kinda pisses me off. I need some more space!!!

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

Hey Irish, great journal. Finally had a chance to read it all the way through. Plants are looking great for 28 days of flowering. I have some AK-48 under 1000 watts of t-5 VHO and they don't look as good as yours. I hope to get my journal started in the next week or so. These journals take a lot of work and energy so kudos to you and plus reps.

Just a couple of FYI's In a previous life I had a glass business. Ordinary window glass lets about 90% of the light above 350 nm (visible light), but blocks over 90% of the light below 300 nm (that is UV) but even that 10% of UV that is left is enough to fade stuff or give you a mild sunburn. Laminated glass stops 100% of UV and more visible light then normal glass. That 10% of visible light that regular glass blocks is quite noticeable to the human eye and really noticable to plants. That is why mirrors only reflect around 89% of light and mylar and even flat white paint reflect around 95%. On a mirror the visible light has to pass through glass twice.

LED's do produce heat. Just not where you can touch it at the lens. The heat is generated on the circuit board where the light is produced and the design moves it away. The lens are designed not to pick up much heat. That is why LED traffic signals are a problem in snowy places. No heat to melt the snow off the lens like a regular incandescent bulb.

btr

Not all glass blocks UV BTW. Borosilicate glass (Pyrex) allows a high percentage of UV light to pass through
