600W LED Grow

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

it was a good eye bro. ive never paid attion to this in the past. but it seems to be normal from all the resacrch i did. could be a strain thing? either way good looking out for keeping me posted and letting me know about things that may not look 100% right on my plants or look odd to you. things like this could really save my ass and my girls just incase i missed something or didn't see something wrong with my girls. thanks for really looking over my pics.

Hey Irish, did you mix some dolomite into your sunshine mix ? looks to me like acidity prob. that sunshine is very acidic due to peat content. My PK doing the leaf curl too with out the yellow tips. Under the HPS ,so its not due to leds. Nice plants :ganjamon:

Is sunshine mix a lot like promix? Does anybody use promix BX? Perilite and peat basically. I always hear this sunshine mix being used, but never heard of them, or seen it.

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

I find for my strain and my garden the sunshine mix works better then the pro mix. Both are about the same thing, but every time I use pro mix I get lots of gnats.. With the sunshine mix not a gnat one.. That seems to be the biggest difference that I've seen between the two mixes.. Hope that helps you out a little..

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

Maybe the gnats are to blame from the source of product? I have never experienced a gnat issue, with any soil. It would lead me to think the soil is already contaminated before reaching your destination. That is too bad. I will look into sunshine, promix is more readily available is my only reason to prefer it.

Thanks dogsnova.

I still want to hear others' opinions...

ive never use pro mix. just FFOF and organic care soil. but sunshie puts all of them to shame IMO. everyone i know who has tried sunshine#4 never complains and still uses it to this day.

Made in Canada "EH" You need some amendments to go with it as well add 30 % perlite and some dolomite then ph stays buffered through out grow still have to flush once a mth for salt buildup.Yes basically the same.I also bought some sunshine contained Knats as well make sure no holes in bale before you buy it,for bugs to get in..:peace: BC

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

hey Irish, you got things perking along nicely under that 600watter. I'm looking forward to seeing some sticky buds.
Great job.
Got the 300w hung and slowly getting a grow together.

They seem to be similar but there's another Promix other then the BX that has more perlite already mixed in.

re: GLH 600W LED Grow

Any time you use soil or take your buddies clone in soil into you grow environment there's always that higher possiblity of introducing critters to your room unfortunately.
