Looking like 2 zips or maybe a lil more once it's all dried n done. Lol. I am kicking myself for not photographing the plant. But I did wash the buds.

I don't really have a ton of time to do a full update and I apologize for that. But I will be regularly updating once again after the first of the month or so.

If you use seeds from you latest run, it will bring out more of the DDA. Give you the purple buds you are looking for. My guess is that the destroyer has some strong genetics and made the purple buds a recessive trait.

Wow glad to have you guys back too. Awesome that you two celebrated down there and with good people n friends. Net the weather is something y'all will miss. Lol

Okay,
First born of six from first pollination. I pollinated three of them.This one's the only one not pollinated.
Two of them failed to thrive early on. One more suffered a catastrophic mishap in the form bring left outside in below freezing weather for an hour too long. Oops total sooner move.
Got two that are pumped right up with seeds now.

I figured as much with the recessive traits on DDA. Glad you said something. I was actually starting to think I some how pollinated the wrong plants and harvested the seeds and even popped em up until they started to flower on their own. Lol
Missed that purple but I think next run will be darker. Like you said. I have been running at temps a bit higher than I ever have but only because of the vigorous growth but the purple in DDA doesn't come from cool temps.
Meh we will know round June I suppose with this next runi got planned. Thinking that I somehow sterilized the pollen I got from y'all I cut one of the buds last week n dried n dried it out. Forgot which one it was when I tested it and I'm breaking a part said buds and nope I didn't mess it up. Right loaded up I tell ya.
But that was the last of it. )-:

I thought this was one of the best ones I've pulled off so far. Only my second auto strain run. Solid Auto journal coming soon.
Will be trying to run two journals this season. The other will be an outdoor run.
I got the Pineapple Chunk down pretty solid. A huge mother to take clones from in mid April for the outdoor. Gonna run three other strains outside with the PC this year too. Delicious Candy, Northern Lights and Train Wreck. Also very well developed mothers right at the moment. I am gonna have an outside Auto grow too. But not a bunch. I feel like yield would be better inside where things are more controlled. Plus I wanna work on breeding autos later. Eventually go DBHBB n get on your level guys.
Any ways Canna thank you for looking even though I ain't really doing nothing right now. Things will reach a platuea soon and I can come back for a while n have a couple successful journals n hang with y'all some more.

Not too big Bud. Promise you that. But we do have a big planned grow coming up. Outdoor especially. I will journal this one with autos thrown in. Seperate indoor Auto grow same strain. Dark Devil Destroyer autos.
Thinking they will be bigger inside. I only have one in a three gal and it never got very big. So I don't really think being outside with lots of room is gonna make a difference over the hps600. But interested to see which ones do better.

Ya man I see you getting into the bugs a while back. We were actually going through many of the same things back then. I just wasn't posting or liking much.
This is my second Auto grow. If you count one plant -Auto Destroyer- gift from
SweetSue I grew and pollinated with Dark Devil pollen that Nismo and Canna shot me, as one. I got a few seeds from that and immediately dropped them as soon as they was dry. Of the ones that popped I have two that I pollinated with the DDA pollen. They're right full of fem seeds. I could harvest them now but I'm gonna wait til they start falling off. Then those will be the next journal. I have the stuff to make my own fem beans next run. But I'll wait to do that for another grow.
We are gonna have our hands full this year especially outside. For photos going out. Pineapple Chunk, NL#5, Delicious Candy, n Train Wreck. I harvested every one of them a while back and they are currently in reveg to use as mothers to clone round April. We can't get in the ground up here till early June. But lemme tell ya something, I should have some of the biggest outdoor stuff ever this year. I am gonna try to have a couple for or five footers to go out there in the ground. Big boy jump start.
Thanks for the heads up on the foliar. I'm gonna start with em soon. At least run a couple side by sides to see what's what. I tried back a few months ago when I first got started but had no patience. Got some produce building up so I got time now. my how things have changed.
The main reason I will always try and keep a journal here, if it wasn't for this place and people here I wouldn't have the freedom to smoke what I want when I want n oh yeah, however much I fkin want !

Funny quick story. Year before last I hadn't heard of an auto either. But I got one from a guy we used to get clones from. My wifes dad picked the solo clearly marked Easy Rider Auto out of the litter, among a few others.
We was all growing all outside then. So the Auto part got thrown out with the cup, we all remember Easy Rider tho.
But anyhow this guy says, "This is an Auto".
I figure at the time it is like slang for, "Good shit".
So we start em good and put em in the ground. At the time, I'm reading this book by Jorge Cervantes and, I get the idea to try n clone with willow water cause there's willow on our property. So I clone four plants. One of them is that plant her dad picked.
Get this, I don't split em, rough up the cambium, spray em with water or cover em. Had no idea what I was doing. Even left em outside beside the fire pit on the rail in direct sun for over a week then x planted. They all lived to be harvested later.
One of them never got no more bigger though. It got roots and flowered but never got taller.
Got a Reeeal fat joint (blunt I think) out of it though. The mother I took the clone from flowered out way before the photos and still it never dawned on me. The clone finished about two weeks after the mother. Then literally as we were smoking that fat joint we were both reading and I had that trusty Bible there it hit me. I had grown my first Auto. Easy Rider clone grow, oh yeah, Auto
