600 Watt HPS - Easy Happy Soil Grow - Easy Does It Cloning & Veg

I will be starting a new journal very soon, all. I just don't have much to journal at the moment. Meanwhile I will continue to peruse the site and communicate with all until I pick up again.

I just had an idea. I'm sure it's been done but I'll fire it off none the less. I got some bag seeds already popped four days or so old. Planted in rockwool. Upon receiving them I put em in promix. Vegged for a month and put em to flower. So one off em hadta go today. Dern male. So as I slowly dissected the whole enchilada today it came to me as I washed the root system and took apart the rock wool. Why do I have to throw out a perfectly good root system ? Can't I just take a cutting of say, NL and graft it to root of developed male meanwhile eliminating the threat of unintentional pollination ?
Anyone know bout this ?
My grandfather had orange groves and when I was a very young boy I very distinctly remember him having one tree with many species of citrus on it.

That's a great question! I think light addict does some grafting. Go check him out and ask him. Let us all know what you find out please

I will. It will be a minute til lights are sorted out here then once that's taken care of I fully intend to do this and chronicle the whole thing.

P.s. Canna I read that article on Marijuana Kills Antibiotic-Resistant bacteria. Wow. Thanks for that.

Sit tight little buddy. I am just waiting for the brand new ballast to come from Cali. They sent it fed ex 2 day so I should have it tomorrow I think. I will find the time to get it to you. Sorry that it isnt working as desired so far. We will get it right. The company I bought it from is outstanding on customer service so they will take care of it. Another day or two bud. And I will bring a new gift or two ;)

And stop cancelling your thread etc. I know you are frustrated. It is ok to let it sit for some time and post as stuff needs posting... Can you do pics yet? If not still keep on taking them if you can and upload them later. Take a day and post them later. Just sit tight and things will improve. Any luck on a new tablet or something?

Don't quote me on this, but I am pretty sure you can't graft onto the main stalk. Once you cut the plant, an air bubble forms in the stem and prevents any nutrients from being transported. When you graft, most techniques have you make the graft cuts in water so there is no air bubble created. At least the few techniques I've seen.

FE, you are a top notch guy! :thumb:

Hey there. So I think it's begun. The strobing has dtressed a couple plants to hermie. I cut em out today. I got seven Nl. clones under some cfls veggin. Seems like only the bag seed females hermied. NL flower looks strong and showing trichs and smellin good. Blueberry Headband looks strong too so far. Photos after this weekend hoping.

Sorry to hear about the hermie's. I will bring some stuff to add to your collection. It will probably have to be sunday as the ballast will not be here until tomorrow and I will be out of town for a couple days. I have the tracking info it is on its way... Soon.. Very soon my friend...

No biggie on the herms. Wasn't nothin to be done for em. Seems like the Northern Lights is holding up very well to it. So far the Blueberry Headband and the Original bagseed Baby that I started with are well too. Plus, I have seven northern Lights clones I took in Flower and have begun to Re-veg thereby monster cropping a near future harvest.
I am not even a lil bit sad that they hermed. A lesson learned with virtually no loss. What was extremely cool was watching it happen first hand. No kidding I was fascinated and still am.

Dude FE you've helped me out once again and I am so thankful I have become accepted into this community of people and so excited that people like you and others have helped me to make a dream become very real.

Thanks again bro.
I know you're a man that can appreciate kind words but I think I would do you a far better turn by being a productive and talented grower and eventually pay this forward. So I have some goals to aspire to.

Thank you for the faith and generosity.

Interesting as I'm able to upload just fine. Please give us more specific information that might help us to resolve this issue.

Are you using a proxy service? If so, that is most likely your problem.

Clear your cache, cookies & temp files, then reboot your computer, modem & router and try again.

It could be your Internet Service Provider (ISP) network having difficulties.

You can open a DOS window and run these two commands to see if you are losing connection.

(tracert 420magazine.com) and (ping 420magazine.com)

If neither of these seem to be the issue, then please provide us with the following data.

Are you using a Mac or PC? Desktop/laptop, phone or tablet and what kind?

Have you changed anything in your upload procedure?

What browser are you using? We recommend Google Chrome for full website functionality.

What operating system are you using?

What virus protection are you using and is it up to date?

Do you have Javascript installed and if so, is it the latest version?

Can you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing when you cannot upload?

The more information we have, the better we can help you.

Thank you Mr. Bowman
I can upload off my computer and it reaches the point where is refreshes the page and goes to my gallery but no pictures uploaded. It acts completely as if it did. Even naming them and searching they do not exist. and a picture i uploaded last week cannot be uploaded either. Mozilla and Chrome do the same. Restart on PC and modem/router as well... It happened weeks ago and then later in the day I could upload again so I assumed it was same today.

Hope that helps

Thanks FE.
Okay something to finally update and an attempt at my first official smoke report.
Okay so as all have known I had a strobing issue with the ballast of 600 watt apollo.---- I originally got this from Far East Buds a fella of a different caliber than I'm used to. I consider him taking his time out of his life to help another previously unknown life out to be a move on his part to reassure people like myself to know kind and generous people are among us.---- I am thankful I met ya, Buds.

Okay so onward we go.

So my friend FE made a special trip out here to where I be. And, lo n behold, he not only brought a new ballast to hook me up he helped me install it n we fired that beaut right up. Lemme tell ya, folks I am about as tickled as the last couple of nuggets in a sac I found in my pocket after thinkin I been outta weed for a day.
He contacted the original seller and evidently they have a fantastic return and warranty policy.
Then we get to talk about goodies. He brought two "picture of perfect health" plants. One Train Wreck. A great strain that I believe he has some experience with. He brought some last time as well to smoke and it was great. Meghan especially liked it.
Then, on to what was my personal favorite ever so far and still hands down is; Pineapple Chunk.
Both have been in veg for a minute I am not entirely sure I'll have to get back to you on this.
Anyhow, did I tell ya that he also brought a good bag full of the stuff to enjoy. Oh did he and lemme tell ya that this is some of the finest smoke I have ever enjoyed smoking.
Smoke report. Please keep in mind people that any previous version of a smoke report ever given by me was oral and while I was High. It's usually went something like this, " Man this is some pretty good s**t, here try this."
I am slowly evolving into something a lil more refined.. TBD...
So I took a couple real nice bong rips to start it off. The first green was amazing. Such a fruity cheezy and ever so slightly skunkky.
I noticed that it took about a minute to feel anything and I totally enjoyed the flavors on my tongue and in my sinus.
then I started to feel it catch up. After six or so minutes I would say it's full tilt. A nice focused, crystal and trippy high high. Creative and uplifting me with a strong sense of being well. I feel like this would help me in a certain social situations.

Only drawback as far as I can tell to this fantastic flower is my opinion alone. The flavors and aroma are a tad cloying. Cloying in the way an overripe fruity sweet drink would be on a mountaintop in the Hawaiian jungle overlooking a volcanic beach on a hot day.

Five star grow by Far East Buds.

Thanks you beyond words buddy.
