5'X5' One Plant Scrog Pounder With LED

CO, YouTube sucks right now, but I watch all your vid's so I'll catch up. Real noob question but everywhere I see this goal of x or y GPW. And for instance I watched the SOG's you sent me to and the yield. My question is do you think this is a fair comparison between grows? I think it should really be GPW/time. If a Scrog yielded 1.2 GPW and a Hempy got 1.2 GPW, it would only be apples to apples if the grow was the same lenght right? I mean if koolkat pulled this weight in 70 days because he 12/12 from the start and a scrog vegged for 4 weeks before 12/12, thems a lot of watts unaccounted for assuming the flower time remains the same. Thoughts? :)
 
Fair comparison between grows would be having the same veg and flower time. Also what kind of strain's being grown. To me GPW would be from Veg too flower. SOG can make good amount of weight but you have to account for all the extra nutes per each plant on top of GPW as both cost money. Just look at my flower tent now. One Train Scroged All that weight and only one 7 gallon pot. Now look at the right side of tent at the five 5 gallon pots with younger plant but are about the same size as the one scrog. 7 gallons of nutes vrs twenty five gallons. Just to get the same yield. Hands down if you got the space and time just to veg one big plant while you are growing other plants when it is time for the one huge plant to be flowered it will hands down win over total cost. I hope that's the info you are asking about. What I do not like is I hear about GPW all the time buy every signal post leaves out the cost of nutes,co2 if used,and Soil... To me if you care about GPW then add all cost up as well to really see the bang for the buck. Add up a soil grow that right there would lean towards the signal plant right off the bat.Just so you know I do not grow what I call a cash crop so the cost of things I only will put out there for the people that are trying to budget. Thank you. I got a bigger grow in the works with FLO or Big Buds. I have been looking at your flux style I know it would be good. Tying is the key in my eyes to shape plants. I never done Your flux type of grow for one main reason. If I would do it I would want a pot about 4 feet square to just get crazy with it. I am a monster growing freak lol. Love to push plants to grow what they where made to do. Just not the way they want to lol. I will study more on what you do and I may play with it. God knows I have a ton of clone guinea pigs to use. First up is the clone off. More on that in a day or so. Keep It Growing Green.

They were clones left in dome way to long lol
The roots sitting in the root nutes on the bottom of tray might have helped a little on the growth as well.

CO Finest: looks like you flowered under the reflective LED from topgrow.... did you just use the flower setting or did you use full spectrum veg+flower.... either way it looked like it did the trick. I am really considering getting one of those bad boy... let me know what you think.

You have to have both on. it will not work in only flower mode. (fans will not turn on)
 
Whats up guys. Not much going on this week. Just some video making. My C Vault order showed up. They are awesome. I have some good friends using them so it was time to join the club. I am just waiting a few days to clear out cloner to make room for the clone off. Three nutes going side by side to see who's the top dog. Monster train is moving right along. She is looking well after her first round of bud booster feed. I have not show what I used for the reason I want to see how it works before I put it out here. I will never recommend something that is a wast of money or is crap. I would have to say on the lights I am now seeing that the 5x5 space with two lights is doing great but the other 5x5 with one I am not happy with. So as of now two 144 are a must for 5x5 space. I hope all is well with you all. Keep it growing green my friends.
 
Well I thought I would add some update pic of MONSTER TRAIN sense I just added her to the P.O.T.M again. Now without any other delay (Ding Ding Ding) now in the left corner, she weighs to much to pick up, Smells sticky icky good, Now 23 days and 0 in flower, The one and only MONSTER TRAIN..........

Man I was thinking of giving her another trim but not sure if I want to touch her anymore at the same time. I might climb under her this weekend and take a closer look. My update video on her is uploading now will have it posted soon to get a better look at her. So far she is making daddy proud. I wish I had the room to have vegged her for a extra month.

been following this journal closely as im planning to do what you've been doing. was having indecisions about whether to go with led or hps but looks like you're on to a winner here whilst running led so no brainer really. i still dont get how your plant is soo bushy, its just amazing to look at.

Thank you. Topping and tying is the key to how it grows. Other then that is Veg time means everything to size of plant. I grow with 1k mh,1k hps,t5,t8 and LED, and cfl now lol. Well in a month add the sun to the list lol. Big and FLO might be going out side for a HUGE grow as well. I hope you all like the Monster Train update. That is all the time I had to do that video.
