5 x Strains All Soil First Medi Grow Whoa!

Day 9 of bud on the buddha's and theyre all doing fantastic, there has been visible pre-flower for like 3 days or so already and its really gettin stinky!! I cant exactly remeber when the little guys came up out of the ground but it was in between x-mas and new years so call it 2 1/2 weeks them little girls have been up out of the soil and already are working on like their 5th or 6th set of leaves!!! My 3 clones are still healthy and are starting to get the little white bumps :)

Soon enough i will begin to lst the 4 other strains so i can keep control of them in my veg closet along with what will be my first attempts at root pruning. Other than that when my buds get a bit bigger i will throw up some more photos. Keep it cool!

Your plants look great Blazin. I believe you said earlier that you were using a heater in your room, I have a lot of experience using electric heaters with my indoor grows. I have found that if your heater is inside of your grow your humidity will drop, however if you have your heater a little outside of your intake you can better control your humidity by keeping water in a large pan or bowl to raise the humidity. My exhaust fans run 24/7 and I have great results in veg at 35-45 percent. Like most people have told you though humidity is much more important during flowering and especially after the stretch has stopped. The reason it is so important at this point is that as the flowers become more and more dense they have a greater chance of developing bud rot. I have seen outdoor and indoor crops completely destroyed by high humidity during the finishing stages of flowering.

Right i mean with more reading i find that the typical signs for lack of humidity are like your leaves becoming claw like and i have found that if i let it dry up for 2 long the leaves literally will become more dry to the touch, with my little humidifier and this like air mist purifier thing the plants seem to be happy as hell and i suppose that with the low humidity i wont be worrying about mold in my buds!

I just looked back at the date i posted for the seeds comin up and it looks like its been 22 days since they sprouted, i think it has been somewhat slow but i will post some pics here in a few and let ya'll see what u think.

K here is a little update its getting exciting!!

alright i dont remember if i had learned the macro mode on the camera last time i posted but i learned i could get a little bit better of pics at least, today is 21 days into flowering but these pics are from like the 16th i think, im goona do another shoot here in a bit and post them up 2.

Time to transplant the 4 little girls into some bigger pots considering ive started bending them over and have already reached the edge of these small pots.

Unfortunately i dont think my buddha clones liked the new nutrient enriched soil mixed with some flora general hydro line, i only used like 1/4 str but they certainly dont look 2 pleased with my decisions. They were flushed with like 2 gals a piece of ph adjusted down to like 6 water and i also dressed the top soil with some dolomite lime even tho the schultz soil said it had trace amounts of it in it.

In light of that bullcrap i also added a bit of dolomite lime to the top soil of all my other little girls and gave them a good watering as well with 6.0 water

It's 100X better in my opinion. You can always google "photoshop tips and tricks", that will give you all kinds of options you don't even realize you have yet.

cool man thanks a lot, i just used the online free version for those ones but the real thing is almost done now, ill spend some time and get good at it, i don't know why Ive never messed with it before.

well i may have made a little mistake, didnt check ph of water after puttin nutes in and am getting a bit of ph trouble signs like i had before. Although not nearly as bad on the leaves nor when i test the ph of the soil so all i can do is let the soil get a bit more dry and let her have a good dose of water to correct this problem, i also have some lime now i will dress the top of the soil with before flushing.

Pictures tommorow all the other little girls are growing big and branching out, also got a couple new strains to add in some Great white shark as well as Afghan kush.

Got rid of some of them nasty lookin lst'd buddha clones because 1 they were tremendously screwed up and i assumed they wouldnt have produced too much of anything.

Hey Blazin looks like I got here just in time to watch the fun. Looking good!

If you just watered once with bad ph'd water I wouldn't worry too much especially in soil. If they start going south on you give them a flush. Good luck!

right on i just added some pulverized dolomitic lime to the topsoil and got some water sitting on the counter overnight, will ph it in the am to around 6.5 or so since my tap water before being ph'd is always like 9 or more so i am sure even with the 1/2 str nutes i added the ph didnt get down below 8.

She didnt show too much stress really and drank almost all the solution now the way i see it PRESS ON!! Nothing else ya can do eh lol

I gotta empty the shop vac and clean the grow room good tomorrow so ill drag all the buckets out from underneath the lights and such for some good pics!!!

Hey there Blazin, been following along with this thread and what I would suggest for germinating seeds and young plants like newly rooted clones is to plant in either a root riot cube, rockwool, or Pete pellet starter and once the plant sprouts (I sprout seeds under a clone dome with a heating blanket, lit by CFLs and I use distilled water and hygrozyme, and a weak nutrient solution of Fox Farm Grow Big to germinate, although it is not needed) and once the sprout is healthy, and beginning to get roots I transplant it from the cloner/seeder first to a Dixie Cup full of LIGHT WARRIOR or HAPPY FROG or a mix of the two. I would stay away from Ocean Forrest because it is too high in Nitrogen for starting seeds. The HAPPY FROG has Dolomite lime already mixxed in and the LIGHT WARRIOR has tons of stuff needed for young plants to promote vigorous root growth and vegetative growth like humic acid and microbeneficials. Happy Frog seems better suited for sprouting seeds and indoor soil gardening and I like it better than the FFoF all around. The Light Warrior holds an extreme amount of water and it is hard to over water. Once the plants are root bound in the Dixie Cup I transplant to a three gallon Smart Pot and water with Fox Farm Grow Big, Hygrozyme, and Bushdoktor Kangaroots root inoculant. At this point the plant should be getting fairly large after 2 weeks of growth. If there is any yellowing in the germinating plants increase the strength of your nutrient solution a little bit. This should stop any yellowing that sometimes happens when you pop seeds. The key to getting small germinated seedlings to get them big faster is to transplant them to a bigger container and they will fill out much faster. Sorry to be so long winded on the subject, but I feel there is a science to sprouting marijuana seeds and how well a plant is treated in its early germination stage will effect the end outcome of the finished product in a big way believe iit or not.

Awesome man im glad you brought all that out when you did, I just transplanted my 4 first strains to 5 gal buckets and had some serious shock, took them a while to overcome it, however they are filling out now.

I actually had to end up using some miracle grow and scotts soil recently and that is what most of the plants are in actually. They both have a similar n-p-k content, released in somewhat the same rates. Anyways it is really odd i have 2 Afghan Kush like 3 weeks old or so and the had some serious trouble in my closet before i brought them down to the grow room with proper humidity and temps, with all the nitrogen in these pre-mixed soils i would never figure that any of the plants would actually become deficient in nitrogen.

Whether i think so or not tho i am coming to believe that the one smaller afghan kush has an n deficiency, i currently am using general hydro's flora line and have some roots organics root drench, should i mix some 1/4 str or 1/8 strength flora grow and micro, with some root drench?

Pictures! :)

Afghan Kush Is it a nitrogen deficiency or what? If it is i will add like 1/4 str micro i think its 5-0-1 i think so.
